The employee with pink hair and glasses was incredibly rude and treated children with no respect. Not all teens are rude some are polite and well raised. In fact, I am constantly complimented on how respectful my child is. Thankfully, the manager was understanding, but it is so important to treat the next generation with kindness. Teens are learning how to navigate the world and do things independently. Belittling them or putting them down because they don’t order a drink correctly or don’t have enough money (especially when I could have been contacted quickly to fix the situation) is unacceptable. Shame on this employee if you can’t treat young people with patience and respect, you’re in the wrong business. Experiences like this are exactly why I rarely go to Starbucks; there seem to be too many employees who are unnecessarily rude.

I had a mobile call order to pick up this morning on my way to work. It is usually crazy busy this time of morning (7:35), but my order was ready, all the customizations were perfect. The barista who was handing out the mobile orders was very friendly and efficient and waited until I arrived to add the hot milk to my oatmeal. She packed everything up so it was easy to transport.
