The Vault is the best place in Porterville for a good cold beer and a delicious meal! The burgers are great, but my favorite is the pastrami sandwich. Can’t beat it! And the staff here is so friendly.

Have eaten there from the beginning. Have talked with the owner and his pride for his restaurant, food and service was outstanding. He opened the Palace just down the street and it’s good also. Now we have been too the Vault twice and food was below pare and service was below that. Staff gave plastic forks for food and had t ask for a knife and our server said we don’t have any clean, let me go was one. It was still wet when server brought it to us. I reached out on messenger and unfortunately whoever I was talking to blew my concerns off. We will never be back to either place.

Stopped for a really late lunch while driving to Vegas and the place was a pleasant surprise. Both the steaks we tried and the chicken wings were spot on. Great portions for the price and made exactly as requested and served with a smile. What else can you ask for? Also serves a large variety of beers. The only thing to pay attention to is 80% of the options available are IPA with only one lager option. Highly recommend if you are anywhere in the area!!

It was delicious. The best rib-eye we had on our whole road trip. Even the grilled veggies and salad were delicious! Loved everything about it, the garlic mashed potatoes were great too!
If you’re doubting between the Rib-Eye and the NY strip: they’re both delicious. We preferred the rib-eye but it’s also bigger and if you just want the normal steak, it really is soooo great too.
And you even get a side salad included. We took the blue cheese dressing and it was the best ever.
Also the service is great and it’s a nice place to sit!
