Food was good, but my carne asada fajita plate was really salty! (and this is coming from a person who LOVES salt)

Great spot in Portola CA! Chips were fresh made and wonderful. Ordered the 5 street tacos with various meats - authentic and not salty like so many other places. The friendly and attentive staff topped off a great dinner at a great price. I'm going back next trip through the area!

I went to Maria’s driving back from a wedding in Graeagle and after a long day they were the best stop I could have ad! Being greeting by the chef himself and served with some of the best molcajete I have ever had, this dining experience was one of the best I could have had!! I recommend this restaurant to any and everyone in the Chilcoot, Portola, or Graeagle area and you will certainly not be let down. Maria’s Mexican in Portola is the best in all the area for Mexican!!!
