A nice little burger shack that I stopped at on a whim. Their soft-serve machine wasn't working great and so I couldn't get an ice cream cone but I got the soft-serve in a cup instead and it was delicious. Soft and creamy with a chocolate crust. The location is perfectly set up for chatting with other customers and I met a delightful couple from LA. All around pleasant experience and I will never pass it by in the future.

We love the Frosty’s from Portola Frosty. We have searched all around the Gray eagle Portola Lake Davis area and you cannot get a better Frosty anywhere.

Got two kids meals, Burger and chicken nuggets, nuggets were undercooked, did replace for another burger. Then ordered a large ice cream cup and it came out smaller then the people in front of me small cup, asked about it was told that's a large. Went back for a box and asked a different person and she was shocked with the amount, she filled it to the proper level. Just didn't appreciate being lied to when I asked the first guy who p poured it. And it is pricey but understandable with the location.

Old school summer shake and burger shack. It wasn't that fast, but I think we showed up in a big wave because the waitress moving pretty fast. Was huge burgers, crispy fries and mushrooms....was decent veggie Burger (vegan). My friends praised the burgers, they were enormous....could have sworn I took pictures...
If you're in the area hit this old local favorite, my friend drove out of the way to eat here.
There are picnic tables both under shade in the front and under the trees around the parking.
Vegetarian options: There is a veggie Burger, and French fries, as well as fried mushrooms...also I believe pickles, and zucchini sticks, something called a veggie combo
So it's not a vegetarian space, but you won't be left out. I'm a vegan and left stuffed.
It's definitely "fast food style burger joint".

The service was very friendly!
They were out of a lot of items because of a busy weekend.
Based on their fries, they have a good fry-master!
Next time I'm in the area, especially with the crew I had today, we want to try out some of the things they were out of today.
We had a good time! Thanks everyone!
Parking: I got a semi through the lot no problem. There's plenty of parking!
Kid-friendliness: It's a "grill&chill" type of place.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's all flat.

The fries were super great. But the soft serve was kinda of meh. I didn't even think that was possible for soft serve, there was just something about it, I don't know if it was because my small cup was even close to packed like they do at Chilcoot Frosty so it just has a better texture I guess.
The service was pretty good for the most part and we received our order relatively quickly. Definitely worth stopping because it's technically gonna have its style of burgers and such that you technically can't find anywhere but at their stand, so that makes it worth giving it a shot at least once if you're passing through town.

I found a curly metal shaving, (you know the kind in a stainless steel scrubber pad) in my burger! I almost ate it. I might have eaten one, I don't know. I wonder what that would do to my insides? The tables outside under the trees were dirty, hadn't been wiped down in awhile. There are bushes growing near the tables that have 1" long thorns on them, and they are dangerously sharp! The fish was good, the fries were good and except for the metal shaving, the burger was good. They did give me my money back for the burger only.
Parking: Parking is a dirt, pot hole ridden field with some torn up old asphalt.
Kid-friendliness: Watch out for thorn bushes!

Service was rude. burger took over 30 minutes to come out soda came out flat and flavorless, the ice cream was runny and the chocolate dip was so thin. Sad to see how this place has gone down hill over the years used to be a great place to eat after a camping trip
