The area is beautiful and worth the drive. The coffee was very good and the chilaquiles with carne asada were the best I've had! The tortilla was crispy, and the carne asada was tender and flavorful. Also, the serving size was so big that I didn't even finish my plate (that rarely ever happens to me). The service was great as well. I'll definitely return next time I'm in town.

We went out for a country drive and stopped her for brunch. The food was delicious. Serving size was large and abundant. We will be back to patronize this restaurant again.

I went to the Cafe 94 because this opened restaurant in USA is nearest to the Tecate border. I planned to sit down and eat breakfast while I wait for my wife in Tecate, Mexico. However, there are no Wi-Fi nor 4G LTE available, so I have to return to Tecate area in north of border without buy everything. How can my wife contact me?
Great spot if you find yourself in the Campo or Protreo area. Good food and friendly service.

I believed this to be the new location for the Old Potrero Cafe. That's what I was told but the Food is a far cry from what the Potrero Cafe used to serve. The Staff was friendly enough but the food is only marginal. Not worth an hour's drive from San Diego ! They touted their Machaca as home made ... And it may be but that was one of the delicious Entrees that Potrero Cafe would serve. This stuff couldn't hold a match to Potrero Cafe's Machaca. They mentioned the business had been purchased but evidently not the transfer of Recipes, Skill or Care.
