I miss this place, having moved out of the area,. They had the best bacon ever! Best food in Prunedale, by far. Friendly staff. Family business run by wonderful people. Definitely go by for a meal here!

Apparently, management changed recently so all the previous ratings don’t apply anymore. We had a really terrible experience. The food wasn’t great. The service was very slow. The toilets were very dirty. They were flies everywhere just altogether a terrible experience.

My husband and i have been here a couple time for breakfast the food and service were good but the last time we went service and the food including the coffee were bad not sure i will be returning

We have been here in the past and had a great experience but since the management changed it’s not the same. Breakfast came out cold, potatoes were so spicy we couldn’t eat them, service was bare minimum, they don’t take cash unless you don’t want any change. Drinks were fine, that’s about it. Just hit McDonald’s instead

Read the reviews and despite the negative feedback regarding rude and uninviting. Went in. Sat down. Table was dirty, and pointed that out and waitress shot us a dirty look. We got up and left. We won’t be back to try again.

Nice little family run dinner. Offering standard breakfast fare ... Surprisingly no breakfast burritos on the menu...

Looked like there was some kind of breakfast/brunch buffet going on. Not sure if it was just a father's day thing or not.

Biscuits and gravy hit the spot for me.

Stevie was cooking up a storm in the back. Food came out quickly and was tasty, for a reasonable price.

Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The chicken sandwich was very thin. Frozen steak fries. The staff didn’t ask me how it was.
They were out of ice cream.

Family atmosphere! Staff and owner interact with customers. Make you feel like family. Been coming for years. They always ask how’s the family! Great food!! Come give it a try

I will say that my wife and I will not be returning to their restaurant. The menu stated the Chicken Fried Steak was $16.00 and my wife and I ordered it. When I got the bill it was $18.00 ea. So I pointed this out to one of the employes. I did not get offered a refund, just a statement that the chicken fried steak was $18.00 ea. We will not return. We are local customers and live close to north county high school. On one other note it was also freezing in the establishment yesterday and most customers had to wear their jacket to keep warm while eating their breakfast. Sorry but this was our first visit and last.

Really good food and the wait staff is excellent and the owner she's a sweetheart she comes around to your everything's okay. I am after 3 years and the food is real good. Had the double cheeseburger today and it was delicious.

Three of us had breakfast here. Burnt toast, over done chicken fried steak. The waitress/ hostess wasn't rude, but she wasn't friendly either. We had to wave her down whenever we needed something and there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. We were disappointed.

Delicious chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy and chilaquiles with eggs ? on point red sauce like we are accustomed to in Mexico ?? biscuits are light and fluffy, gravy is like bechamel sooo unique and delicious ?
