Honestly some of the most delicious tamales I've ever enjoyed...made in house! The salsa served with the complimentary chips is excellent too! Great service with a smile and tasty mexican cuisine at a reasonable price. We will definitely revisit this place. If you're passing through Quincy and looking for some tasty, fresh and affordable grub stop into Lucio's!

Update... I am sad to to report that the chili relleno did not get any better. (See the picture) Without exaggeration, this may have been the worst chile relliano I have ever had. Original ...This place has decent food, although they're chile relliano which used to be amazing has been lacking lately. Very little cheese inside which makes it more like a slimy mess. I'll try it again in about a month and follow up to see if it got any better.

Small friendly restaurant, lots of variety, food was decent. Try the pineapple fajita, it's crazy!
This is some of the most underwealming Mexican food I have ever had--and I moved here after a long stint in Indiana (land of the bad food).
We originally came in to scope out the local cuisine and got a fajita plate and a burrito. The burrito was massive but decidedly middling because it was weirdly cold. The fajitas were awful. Completely dry, flavorless, probably not marinated, and it came with veggies that were limp and gray. I would e dressed them up a bit, but they don't even make their own chile! That's the easiest fix for the clear lack of spicing prep, but they just offer basic, super vinegary hot-sauce.
Everyone I've met in town dislikes their food, and yet this place is often so packed! I have no idea why.
I wouldn't even post this because they seem like a long-standing business, but like ... This is California, dude. We used to be part of Mexico. Plumas is a Spanish word. The restaurant is called Lucios...how is it SO BAD!?
3/10 because the burrito was big and the atmosphere felt like a small Denny's, which is ... Fine, I guess? Weird for a Mexican spot though

Not my first time as a local getting food from there.Got the alombre tacos meat was so dry.You couldn't chew it with the habanero salsa. The lid was bubbled up, which is an indication that it's been in there too long, seriously disappointed, not my first time. There will not go back

First time eating here and the food was great! Healthy servings and our hostess was great too! I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because one or two families came in with screaming kids and the parents weren’t any better. Sad when they don’t take the screaming kids outside.

Lucios is our go to restaurant in Quincy California. I just love the biscuits and gravy. Eggs Benedict are very good too. The alambre is delicious. Tacos, taquitos, molcajete is awesome. Pretty much everything on the menu is very good. Lucio makes his own chorizo!!
