I am grateful that we have the Polka Dot as an option in our community. The food is good, fast, and delicious. We can swing in and get a breakfast burrito and are never disappointed. The same with lunch and dinner.

Very tasty burgers and we really appreciated having a spacious outdoor eating area under the trees. The downside of stopping during dinner time was that it took 45 minutes to get our two burgers. We ended up being delayed enough that we finished our drive well after dark rather than expecting to arrive in Tahoe at dusk. Food was great and the staff seemed to be working hard, just couldn’t keep up with the steady flow of customers. Oh, they also forgot the jalapeños that I paid...
Listen, where polka dot lacks in gluten free and dairy free options, they make up for in generosity and spirit. My family comes here every summer and the ambience never disappoints. Probably, you should not order the slushee but truthfully you can’t go wrong with the cones. PSA!!! Don’t get the gf df banana split. Not good. All my love to polka dot and their staff <3
