We stayed at the Ragged Point Inn and ate dinner and breakfast at their restaurant. I’d recommend reservations for dinner. Both meals were excellent. The restaurant and property have gorgeous views of the coastline whether you eat inside or outside.

We had the Oysters on the half shell…DoNot get them! Both of us got sick!!!
They were not cleaned properly and we had mouthfuls of shell pieces!! Both of us got sick that night and had digestive issues!
The crab cakes were delicious! And the Caesar salad with shrimp was excellent!

Purchased dessert and a croissant sandwich from the coffee shop. It was exactly what I needed at that moment. The croissant was buttery, crispy and cheesy. The lemon cream pie was like cheesecake.. delicious. It is a little on the sweeter side.
There was live music when we got to the location. That was pleasant.

Worth the 2 hour drive, I was hungry and forgot to take pictures lol. It's actually nice to take kids too because there's no cell service The Monte Cristo sandwich is great and the steak sandwich. Beautiful drive and really nice to walk around before and after lunch. I'll be going back for more. 😋

Service is not too friendly and the birria sandwich had dry meat. Beautiful location.

We were seated immediately, the restaurant was pretty busy despite being off season.

I ordered two appetizers: crab cakes and mushroom bisque. They were excellent. 4.5/5

My son and I ordered the ribeye for dinner and it was exceptional. It was served with a bourbon demi glaze along with asparagus and a potato 5/5 .

My wife had shrimp diablo pasta. They were also good - the shrimp was perfectly cooked . 4.5/5

We all agreed this place was a solid /10 - since they’re already close to a 5 star, I’ll vote 4 star since they’re not a 5/5.

The service was exceptional. The waiter on staff was the only one there - he was swamped yet we were greatly attended to. 10/5 for him, he was excellent.

The Restaurant at Ragged Point is just what it should be...an attractive airy building that's all windows looking out across the hotel's beautiful campus. There's interior feels strangely empty, but i appreciated the discrete distance around each table. There's also patio seating with an attractive propane fire pit. Breakfast, kunch, and dinner are served. The menu is somewhat limited, and the prices are inspired more by location than food quality (I liked the branzino at dinner). The staff doubles at the coffee shop shoehorned into the same building, and they are friendly and accommodating. Overall this is a very enjoyable experience.

Views and food were great. If you are going to speak poorly about your guests you should make sure that those around you don’t understand Spanish.

It's a shame the place is so beautiful and has potential because it is one of the few restaurants with terraces to enjoy outside but the staff is quite arrogant and disorganized.

Food is a bit bland. The ingredients were ok. Veggies under cooked. No seasoning at all on steak or potato dish. For the price? not great. Service was good. Tried lunch and dinner menu.
On a less savory note. Flies were an issue all day. Inside and out of the restaurant. Perhaps a trap? Or fly tape could be used? I'm sure, with a bit of effort, the fly issue, could be managed.
