Excellent wine with amazing flavors. Great, friendly service. Very secluded and private. Peaceful spot for wine tasting and relaxing. I have been twice now and will go back again to tell other people to go check it out.
Atmosphere: Great view, extremely friendly staff. Our few visits were always with Audrey. We have received freebies like olives on occasion, or glasses of wine when we are there to pickup. A great vibe is half the reason I visit.Price: Middle of the road, just slightly on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Small family shop, probably barely breaks even, things cost a lot. Expect $30 - $50 for a bottle. Some of the best olives I have ever had as I do not normally like olives, but again, costly at $15 (worth it to me). More TLC than most.Wine: Quality is good (its not superb, but I am not paying $100 a bottle either). Definitely worth a visit if you are traveling to the area, this is one of the Ramona wineries I prefer.
beautiful winery. great wine, super nice owner. : )
Always a good time at barrel one! If you've never been or are looking for a great tasting experience, this is the place to go.
I had the Spanish Blush. Not a desert wine but a little sweet and a little unusual which I loved. Wonderful and relaxing as I watched the sunset in Ramona. I had the pleasure of meeting Audrey, one of the owners, and she was so welcoming and friendly. Hits all the marks - wonderful people, beautiful property and delicious wine. I will be back!
This is a lovely venue with smart landscaping. Don't assume the wine is as good as the eye appreciates the surroundings. Varietals in wine tasting range from viognier to Cabernet Savignon. My favorite was the 2014 Tempranillo which was peppery and earthy.
Beautiful winery. Strictly serve tastings outdoor. $15 for 6 wines. 3 whites and 3 reds. Prices for bottles of wines are in $30 to high $40s...too expensive for wines offered mostly Tempranillos. Friendly staff.
We really enjoy Barel 1 winery. Nice people beautiful scenery... great wine.
Our favorite, small winery big wine. Best Merlot in California!

This place is Beautiful.Audrey is great. The wine is Award worthy.I really enjoyed the Merlot.I will return
Great place for wine with a relaxed vibe. Lots of lawn space to spread out in. They allowed us to bring our own food and provided exceptional service. We sat on the other side of the driveway, but Audrey still came over and brought us all our drinks. She even brought us chairs, a trash can, and picked up any trash we made. We had a fantastic afternoon and were able to hang out with friends while still socially distancing with them. I recommend the Viognier 16, it was our favorite!
Beautiful property. There is a good variety of wines. Something for all tastes. The owners Audrey and Tom were great hosts. We will be back!
