The best hidden treasure in Ramona. From Andy's top notch wines and olive oil to Carolyn's fresh made sourdough bread⭐?❤️You can't leave without buying a bottle or 6.

I came with my family and two children, and it was a small, intimate space with beautiful plants and a lovely view. There was a surprising number of wines to sample, and they were all delicious. My favorites were the Cab Franc, the Malbec, and both ports were amazingly good. We brought our own food and snacks. I can't recommend more.

Outstanding! There are a lot of wineries in Ramona, and usually I'll find one or two good offerings at each with the rest being drinkable. Everything Chuparosa does is good, even those wines I don't care for I can appreciate being true to from. Andy has an attention to detail that shines through everything he creates.

A group of us visited Chuparosa on a Sunday afternoon and we had a great time. It has a small outdoor patio that has one large table for 6 and about three small tables for 2-4. There's more seating inside too. There's a beautiful view of their vineyard and Olive trees.Wine tasting was very affordable at $10 to taste all their wines. The owner Andy came right outside when we arrived to welcome us. If you buy a bottle of wine, the $10 goes towards the cost. Most of us left with at least one bottle of wine that day as their wines were really good!I like their Albarino, Sangiovese and their zinxzin port. No food but you can bring your own.

This is a must visit winery in Ramona. We were greeted warmly by Carolyn, the owner. She was so enthusiastic and talkative with us. The tasting room is gorgeous and the patio is beautiful with stunning views of the vineyards. Inexpensive tasting and wines with generous pours and lovely commentary by Carolyn. One of the best wine tasting experiences I've ever had. So pleased to walk away with two bottles and I will gladly go back and bring visitors.

Found this out of the way winery because I love Italien varietals. Andy was great to talk with and the wines are so good I ordered a case to be shipped home to Oregon.Definitely worth a stop on your tasting journeys.

Doing it right in the Ramona Valley AVA. A pioneer with mature vines. A vintner owner with an experienced touch making fantastic single-grape estate wines and a great Tuscan blend. + really good prices that will have you reaching even mid-week for the bottles you bring home. Will be back. Rises to the top of our favorites in Ramona as we continue to explore this up and coming region.

My husband and I came here for some wine after a long hike and enjoyed our experience very much! Andy the owner greeted us promptly upon arriving and we both selected to do the wine tasting which is extremely reasonable! We tasted some of the most aromatic wines we have ever had and Andy walked us through each flavor profile and it's origin. The Cabernet Franc was our absolute favorite so we bought a bottle which waived one of the tasting fees. This place is tucked away in the hills of Ramona. Go check it out & enjoy!

Very nice wines and a great setting to enjoy with friends. We really enjoyed the Merlot and the Cab.

Amazing little winery. Andy and his wife are great people. They know how to make wine!!! We have been to wineries all over San Diego and Temecula Valley and his is the only one we will go to besides the one we hold a membership with. Tiny little place with a cozy fire and great atmosphere. I recommend that everyone stop by and have a glass. You will definitely be hooked.

I visited Chuparosa vineyards for the first time after seeing the excellent, and know I know now , well-deserved internet reviews.Honestly, I didn't know there was any place in San Diego County that made such great wine.I asked the owner, manager, field-worker , and winemaker Eddie wny he makes wine and he said, "becuase I like wine."The wines are dry (no residual sugar). Again, I asked why, "he answered becuase I like it that way."How freshing it is to fine someone who follows his heart and passion! As one patron said, "the hard part here is not to find a good wine, but to find a wine that isn't good." All tasted wines were five stars and the price is reasonable. I will be back. Buy the Malbec (if there is any left.) Salud to you and your passion, Eddie !
