A fantastic place to spend your time, easy going and friendly people feel like you're at the Promise land, You feel like their syrah is made for you. Point blank the best syrah I've had. A wine you could drink barefoot sitting on the hood of a Dodge or with the sweet bells of mercy drifting through the evening trees.
Good fun with good friends..... Enjoyed the winery experience...
Excellent wine!! And Beth is awesome. So glad we stopped here!
Amazing wine. Beth is a treasure. Such a nice experience. Highly recommend!!
If you like red wine, make sure to stop here! It might not look like much, but they have some of the best red wines we tasted in this part of California (including Temecula).
Edwards was our first stop on a Sunday tour of Ramona for three reasons: it's just about the Eastern-most winery, and our plan was to work our way back West toward Carlsbad; the reviews here were terrific; and Edwards is one of the few that open at 11 instead of noon. And wow, this set a high bar for the rest of the day. We were the only people there, the wine was fantastic, and chatting with the owner / winemaker was really delightful. The Happenstance Cuvee II was a delicious red blend with an interesting origin story. The Cab was very good. And that Syrah...wow. We couldn't walk away without buying a bottle of that Syrah.$15 for a tasting of those three wines plus an extra pour of any of them is a really good deal for the quality you get.Nice property, lovely owner, sweet dog (she might bark as you arrive, but don't be deterred, she's nice!), great wine.
If you want to try the finest red wine in San Diego Co. visit this small, boutique family owned and run winery. Beth Edwards (owner, Winemaker and Vineyard Manager) is the ultimate hostess. The wines are terrific - especially their Syrahs and Petit Sirahs - and so reasonably priced compared to the competition! Their Tasting Patio provides a wonderful view of their vineyard and the local valley. Picnics are welcome. If you're serious about wine - don't miss Edwards!!
So amazing ? feels at home. great wine ? i would go back for camping and more wine. Best birthday experience ?? good conversations and company.
Great wines ? and friendly staff. Definitely will be back!
Edwards Winery is a delightful stop on the road between Julian and Ramona. Be sure to drop by for a tasting with Beth. She is a great hostess, friendly, informative, and excellent winemaker. High-quality wines at reasonable prices. Cheers!

What a fun small place to go try it small-batch wines. The Syrah was very good, and the owner and staff were so helpful and friendly. We certainly will be coming back here. Highly recommended.
Beth is the owner/winemaker. She was effusive when greeting us for a tasting. 3 wines were available for tasting. You are overlooking the vines when tasting the varietals. She is full of information and energy. The Syrah is an outstanding wine and quite bold in character. This is a small family owned Winery and Vineyard so give it a try!
My visit to Edwards Vineyards was a very enjoyable one. 2 of us visited recently and we met Beth, the owner. She was served us 2020 Picpoul Blanc/Syrah which is supposed to be a white blend with 44% Syrah. This wine is dry, fruity and very lovely. 2011 Forlorn II is a red blend w/50% Syrah & 50% Petite Sirah - a medium body, upfront palate, instant fruit flavor and well balanced wine. Last wine was a 2015 Syrah - this wine by far was one of the best Syrahs I've tasted in a long time - was bold for a Syrah, medium bodied and fruity and would probably pair well with food. I left with several bottles of this wine and will be back for more. Wine tasting is $12 and are waived with wine purchase. Oh, and unlike other wineries, Beth is very generous with her wine pours giving you the chance to be fair in tasting the wines.

A great experience. If you're looking for a 93pt and above Syra, then this is the place. Prices are reasonable. The service was red carpet.
