A must visit for good quality wine lovers. Specifically enjoyed their estate Syrah, Petite Sirah and Cabernet. We recently came across this place by pure chance on a trip to the area and ended up staying for several hours enjoying the wine and company of Beth the owner and friends. A fantastic place to spend your time, easy going and friendly people feel like you're at the Promise land, You feel like their syrah is made for you. Point blank the best syrah I've had. A wine you could drink barefoot sitting on the hood of a Dodge or with the sweet bells of mercy drifting through the evening trees.
Edwards was our first stop on a Sunday tour of Ramona for three reasons: it's just about the Eastern-most winery, and our plan was to work our way back West toward Carlsbad; the reviews here were terrific; and Edwards is one of the few that open at 11 instead of noon. And wow, this set a high bar for the rest of the day.
