Gotta love Rubio's! I'm actually not a huge fan of the fish tacos, but everything else is pretty great! Love their bowls.

food is tasty, but way too pricey. I got the mexican corn bowl with NO protein, but was charged the same amount as if it had protein. I asked why and was told that they put more food in the bowl to make up for lack of protein.... $13.81 I could have gone to Chiptole and had the exact same thing, much larger portion for less than $10. I won't be back.

Wish You could go lower than 1 star….Save your time and money and go somewhere else… food is beyond nasty. Store was hot and dirty. Not a single clean table, trash on the floor, salsa bar a disaster.. poor girl upfront working alone, doesn’t know the menu… AND with the line out the door during peak lunch time. Where is the owner at home in the AC??? Also a handful of romaine salad lettuce and purple cabbage don’t go on a chicken street taco…

Casher was friendly. Salsa bar was nice, place was clean. Bathrooms were clean. Credit for that. We ordered 4 different things. 1 carne asada burrito and 1 ancho shrimp burrito. Both were basically just all rice and beans, very little shrimp or asada, barely any guacamole, I should have opened up the tortillas and took pictures. Street tacos and street corn were good, and would eat them again, it had the corn and asada. But not our burrito. Spent about $50 for just rice, beans and little guacamole. Place wasn’t really that busy. It seems like they forgot to add shrimp and asada to our burritos. Update: Found the leftover my son didn’t finish the next morning in the car. Pictures:

The prices are ridiculous, especially for knockoff Mexican food. Almost $6 per taco. $3.50 for a small bottle of water . I'm willing to pay for quality but this food does NOT justify the cost at all. TJ tacos in Escondido is 1000% better and are half the price. We should've visited any one of the many Mexican places in town for these prices.

Worst customer service ever. Will not go to this Rubio's ever again. They messed up our whole order and when I called to get our replacement order at a later date I was told they "couldnt find our name". Didnt even sound like the person looked for it or maybe the person we spoke to and complained to after we got home with our order didnt care about making it right. Shame on you Ramona Rubios.
