From the moment I walked in, the service was nothing short of spectacular. I was seated immediately, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests , even putting on the baseball game for me. Throughout my meal, I noticed how attentive they were to every guest, not just me, which speaks volumes about their dedication to great service.

My visit here wasn’t planned, but I’m so glad I made the decision to have dinner. It was the perfect way to enjoy my Friday night after a long, hard week. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you to Ana my server and the hard working staff who put on the game for me abiah

I'm not an Applebees guy but decided to go to it as it was the closest to me during the national wings day. I sat at the bar I wanted to the deal their online system wasn't working and the deal coupon wasn't working either not on the website nor on DoorDash. The manager honored the deal and worked things out the wings are good and filling

Update: the day after posting the below update, I received an email with a digital gift card. We dined in and the meal was good, service was better. We plan to visit again, if the experience is good, I will change my rating.

Update: 7/20/25, a representative from this Applebee's reached out via email to apologize. She offered to send us a digital gift card, so that we could give them another try. To date, she has never sent us anything, I followed up again, she apologized and said she would send it, never did. Terrible customer service. Sharing this experience on the RC Facebook Foodies page now.
We went to Applebee's and arrived at 9:25 with a party of 9 they were pretty busy and we got seated in about 10 minutes, which was fast. We waited 15 minutes to place a drink order and another 12 to receive the drinks, 7 waters and 2 sodas, we then placed our food order. It took almost an hour to get our food and when we got it two people in our party didn't receive their burgers, we ate our entire meal and they still didn't receive them. A few of us ordered the all you can eat riblets, chicken or shrimp and all of them were terrible we did not even ask for a second order of any of it. The party across from us found a Black Widow on the window ledge, and had the same issues we did with service and food being incorrect. When I told the manager he was apologetic and said that they were backed up in the kitchen he adjusted the bill and it was $62 quite honestly I would have thought that he would have compted the whole thing, that's how bad the experience was. On top of it all the waiter was extremely rude, never smiled once, he was grumpy the whole time. Very disappointed, I only wish I had taken pictures to add here. I would not recommend

This place is always veey clean and staff so friendly. This time Joshua was our server and he was very attentive throughout. Didn't have to ask for refills or condiments. Food was nicely presented and hot. Manager was very attentive walking by all tables. I like this place more than other Applebee's.

Ask for no mushroom the food that don't come with mushroom hat mushrooms in it. My boyfriend had allergic reaction.keep trying to get somebody on the phone, but Christina say she don't want to deal with me right now. The picture is the chicken and sausage pasta. It's new..

Ok, good food, but the table was dirty, and I had hair on my hoodie when I left that want on my hoodie before I placed it in the booth... To go cups are little kid cups, 😂 but John was awesome, definitely sooner of the most polite staff. If you exclude the last behind the counter who don't like long at people or smiling...

Its applebee's comfort food. It's gonna be as good as you expect. The wait times have improved, the service has improved. But in all reality it's just a little bit better than mcdonald's.

Restaurant Truth

Is this an Applebee's that is a part of the DINE BRAND??? I came into this establishment just to grab some appetizers and maybe a drink and wind down, but my guest and I experienced what I consider the worst upholding of the BASIC standards, that I am sure was trained but never met. ABSOLUTELY RACIALLY DRIVEN

This is certainly NOT the standards of Applebee's at least when I used to work here (not this location, but I was a Montclair Applebee's server for years) and so I show love to the brand by patronizing still. But on 2/20/25 it was the most uncomfortable, RACIAL driven experience ever!

upon walking in, all of the hosts/servers/bartenders (that I seen on staff) were not at all Busy, there were table sat and eating but as I stood at the door it, there was a 4 minute wait to even be greeted, after it seemed like the teeth of the host was pulled to come seat us, we were then placed in the bar area in a booth...
This is where it gets interesting.... I KNOW for a FACT the standard greeting time for ANY table no matter what is 30 seconds to TWO MINUTES MAX!! my guest and I sat...waited, looked servers in the eyes who decided to continuously walk past our table...

Forgive me if this is insulting as I describe who these servers were, One Heavy set guy, long black hair, with arm tattoos...walked by our table multiple times and there was no greeting, another guy taper hair cut, glasses and wheres the fake gold and has the goofy smile, also made eye contact and proceeded to ignore that there was a new table in his section.

Ultimately seating for 10+ minutes and NO GREETING, the bartender, absolutely seen us but yet made no effort to even see if we needed anything. As we made quick eye contact as well.

It only boils down to one thing, this place has a HUGE issue with serving guests of African American culture. This was absolutely racially driven no way around it. Any other excuse is just pure Laziness (and Yes I dont care if they are all hispanic, there is a such things as Racist Mexicans)

At the end of the day, it had to feel awkward to seat us, and after around 15 minutes of not being greeted, my guest and I walked out...and you know what the HOST had the nerve to say upon exit (yes the same host who sat us) "You guys have a good night"

This place is a disgrace to the entire restaurant industry, the BASIC steps of service were not followed and this is a reflection of Management, this is a reflection of NOT CARING AT ALL....just a group of people holding on to a job, "getting by"

Not knowing you had a Chef sitting in your establishment who understands it isnt easy and always tips 50%-100% just off the pure heart of knowing what it is like to be a server!! but how would you know? unless of course you greet people!! The restaurant was dirty, I believe these servers thought it was cute to do this as they were fully aware of this and no one decided to approach us, not even for water..but then again the servers here seem like they would spit in your water.

NEVER AGAIN will this place be patronized! this is NOT a "neighborhood" bar & grille this is a quick hang out. Honestly needs to be revamped with people who care. This is an humiliation to the DINE IN BRAND, and you should check your management of upheld standards!! I can only imagine how the Kitchen looks, I can only imagine the amount of stealing goes on here, just look at the standards and it will tell you everything about this restaurant.

I am not going to end this review with a "I hope this place gets better" BS!!! I hope this place completely closes, and I have never wished this on any establishment...But the company is a reflection of the people it hires!! and from The BUMMY looking Host up to the Oddly shaped Bartended with the goofy glasses..this place is disgraceful.
