The pizza here is top notch. If you've ever had authentic New York pizza in New York, this is the spot, but this is why they do not have five stars: four there is not a concern about food safety specifically for DoorDash and similar orders. I order here often, but stopped until yesterday, because they will not seal the pizza boxes before the food delivery service picks up the food. I have called them before and on those occasions when I called them and let them know that I've placed an order they often, but not always, will tape up the box to prevent tampering. . But as a customer, you shouldn't have to call them up in addition to placing your DoorDash order. Barboni's should know, like every other restaurant who use food delivery apps, that a food delivery service is picking up the order. And if you use the food delivery app, you can have awesome clean professional delivery people, but these apps also hire people who have dirty, cigarette funky smelling cars, and sometimes, people that are transient or somewhat sketchy. So it is incumbent upon restaurants to factor that in. It would take nothing and not cut into the bottom line to simply purchase good tape and seal the pizza boxes so that customers know that the delivery drivers cannot tamper with the pizza & food. I'm more than happy to upgrade this review if this restaurant commits to and demonstrates that it has trained all of its staff that no pizza leaves its doors unless & until the pizza box (or food bag) is appropriately sealed shut, so that a driver cannot tamper with the food.

Great place for lunch. The ladies at the counter are fantastic. Cool little place to take the fam or go for a quick bite to eat.

Ordered a larger Hawaiian to go.. so delicious.. perfect amount of toppings.. the bread/crust was so good.. I usually don't eat pizza crust, but this one was so bomb! Picture shows the six slices I devoured before remembering to take one.. only thing I added was crushed pepper flakes at home.. if you love Hawaiian pizza you gotta try this!

Since Grazie's on Baseline closed abruptly, I have been searching for another old school Italian place that's local. You know the kind, been there for years... has decades of sponsored youth sports teams photos lining the walls.... serves beer in huge glass mugs... and their take out still comes in aluminum containers. Barboni's passed the atmosphere test, so on to the food. I had the Hero sandwich and the Baked Ziti and both were excellent. The bread is that flaky italian kind and it's toasted... yum! The baked ziti is to die for, all hot and gooey cheese running everywhere. Food test passed.... Barboni's is my new go to Italian spot! Thank you Barboni's!!

I called in to place order and was put on a brief 10 minute hold. I hung up and called back only to be told can I put you on a brief hold explained I was just on a brief 10 minute hold the person that answered said nothing just put me on hold.I work a block away just wanted to place order and this person had the biggest rudest attitude I haven't encountered in so long . I was told we are busy were not just standing around I said i never said you were. I explained you are so hostile and she said this is the way I talk. I asked for another person to take my order she said it's me or no one. I am in awe with the competition and cost you would think they would try to have at least decent customer service. She is supposedly the manager her name is Melody. I will be calling back Tuesday to speak to manager. Being in the restaurant industry for 25 years hospitality is Huge !

Hometown pizza joint, have been going for years. We haven't really found anything we haven't enjoyed, from the appetizers and salads to the pizza itself. Will take it over any of the delivery chains for sure. Our go to is the Hawaiian, but will do any other specialty. My son likes the calzones, as well.

$27.00 for a large meat lovers pizza. The pizza had very little of everything on it. And was overcooked. On top of that it looked more like a medium size pizza.
I have eaten here before, sandwiches and pizza are not bad, but I have just eaten the worst clam chowder I have ever had.

The food was good. I had lasagna and garlic knots. The service was also quick and professional. The ambiance was fast casual. This place is around the corner from my house. I will have dinner from there more frequently.

We came with a big party about a week ago and we were very discouraged with the service we received. We tried to prepare the restaurant call ahead and from the beginning it seemed challenging. We are from the restaurant industry and completely understand the business and the environment. We are not rude In any shape or way. We apologize for running behind schedule but in no shape did we deserve the looks, the treatment that we got while we were here. They brought out food but didn't bring enough plates or napkins, anytime we asked for anything there was only rude treatment in response. We felt discriminated for being Latinos. We totally understand someone being shorthanded but either way there is a way to handle things. We could compare the service people were receiving around us to the service we were receiving. Truly saddened.
