Calle Ocho Cuban Cafecito

I ordered a pork (lechon) sandwich, Cuban sandwich, and a ground beef empanada. Everything was quite average, lacking a deep flavor, and the sauce was the saving grace. I felt like the pork was very dry and the ham in the Cuban sandwich wasn’t the best tasting. The empanada was fine overall.

The service from the workers was amazing and they were very sweet. The wait time was about an hour for my entire order.

My man went in to get me a coffee and told them how I have a sweet tooth. The lady recommended a delicious coffee and made it so beautiful. 10/10 recommend

This place hits all the right spots. Good vibes, good service, and good food! Service can be a little slow but you can rest assure that they're making the food fresh.

The empanadas were fantastic, and the sauces that came with it as well. I like the little bit of a sweetness you get when you bit into them. I also had the coffee and one of their flans and they too hit! Great local spot! Continue to do your thing. To everyone else, come show this spot some love. You won't be disappointed.

Everything about this always makes you feel like you are getting a home cooked meal 🍽️ or coffee ☕️ and my oh my is the coffee so good here! Simply the best! I am always on the road taking clients to see properties and helping sellers sell properties but when I get pulled this way this location is must stop and enjoy my coffee!! My go to is a cafe con leche or if I need to jump start my day a cubancito makes my day go much better! The service is amazing! Love that the owners are hands on!!!

Was looking for a coffee shop while traveling for work from Mississippi and found Calle Ocho and figured I would give it a try.

The staff was extremely friendly and even though they jokingly made fun of me from being from Mississippi I would come back to this place in a heartbeat.

The coffee was fantastic, even a simple Cuban Americano was full of flavor and the Cuban Sandwich was the best Cuban Sandwich I have ever had. Granted I have never had a Cuban Sandwich before but I am sure I will not find one better.

10 out of 10 would try again.

EVERYTHING was awesome. From the staff, to the decor, all the way to the food.
Every single thing we ate and drank was great.
Will we be back? Does a Cubano have pork in it?
