As I stepped into the room I was immediately taken back to the last time I was at Cask 'n Cleaver over 30 years ago. The warmth and charm had not changed. I wish I had appreciated it more back in the day! Chocolate martinis for our party of 4 started the meal. Way overpriced but oh so good! A BOGO free would have been nice! I ordered my "usual", the 10oz top sirloin, and was overjoyed to see my favorite baseball cut presented and cooked to perfection! The entire experience was great and made me realize I spent too many years away from this gem of a restaurant. The price is prohibitive for my fixed senior income but I will be back for my December birthday. Thank you CnC for continuing to serve such good food!

I made reservations at the “Cask” that we used to always like many years ago when this restaurant was a top choice in the Rancho Cucamonga neighborhood-before it was even named that. Drifted away after a bad experience (had guests &had raved about it-very embarrassing)! MANY years later, I decided to check reviews because it had survived!! Reviews were very encouraging! We were quickly seated just where I ask. Server soon arrived to take drink & appetizer order. Warm rolls were brought to the table. Choices were served in a timely fashion without being rushed. Our steaks arrived exactly as we had ordered them; and they were delicious! It was such a treat to refind an old favorite. Quality casual steak house!!

We were there for a large party. The waitress was good. At my table all three couple ordered within minutes. Two couples got theirs fairly soon, and they finished eating. I finally asked about ours. She came back and said the kitchen Lost ours and it be up in about 3 minutes. 5 minutes later she came out and said they actually made another other. We got our meals after all other orders had cleared off the table. From time we ordered till served over 45 minutes. Waitress did a good getting orders from all the party. Approximately 35 people.

The food was delicious as always. This was the first time we had terrible service. Took over 25 minutes to even get drinks to the table. Server seemed irritated by us from the start but was friendly to the tables around. We could see a definite difference in mood. Unfortunate because we do come here a lot because we love the food.

First time here: Had reservations for 7pm, showed up at 615pm and the hostess found a seat for me and my date promptly. Service was great and present throughout our stay, and the manager even checked on us during dessert. We had 8oz top sirloins with sauteed mushrooms and onions, mashed pot, baked pot, broccoli and green beans. Food was so hot, and topped it off with Lemon Cake. Go there! I want to come back to try the drinks and more steak: place and people are cozy and warm.

We haven't been here in about 5 years. We came here for lunch last week which is a first. Unfortunately for us, they're only open for lunch on the weekdays, Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 2:00pm. We both work.
We've only eaten here one other time for dinner so it was definitely a different experience coming during the day. I made a reservation through Open Table as I didn't know if they would be busy or not.
When we arrived they had our reservation on file and seated us right away by the window. I was surprised that other people were already arriving as well. I still love the old school feel and ambiance.
We literally just came for the salad bar because we hadn't tried it before.
I ordered the Salad Bar & Bottomless Soup at $13.95 and my husband got the Salad Bar with the 1/2 Sandwich (he picked turkey) at $14.95. We both ordered drinks, an iced tea and Coke at $3.95 each. Our total with tax came out to $39.65. Anyway, I got one of each soup; the clam chowder and tomato bisque. Their fresh bread is also amazing which went so well with my soup. The salad bar had fresh ingredients and also fresh fruit. We also received great service. Multiple people checking up on us, providing refills for our drinks, and taking away our plates.
As we were leaving, the restaurant had a decent amount of customers inside. I asked my husband if he enjoyed his meal and he did. He said the next time we return is probably going to be for dinner again and he'd order a steak.
Food has been rough the past few times. Steak not done all the way, wrong pieces sent out, undercooked. Seems like it used to be a lot better, maybe it’s just the past 2 times I’ve been there in the last 6 months.

I WAS AS FULL AS A TICK ON A HUNTING DOG!!! I just love this place!!! They serve delicious meals in Booty Huge portions!!! (As delicious and huge as office rumors) I ordered the Smoothered Bleu Steak and Salad Bar. I was pretty hungry and kinda flustered from my hunger pains, that I forgot to take photos!!! The server was a delight (I forgot her name). All meals start with a bread basket. The salad bar is large with a great variety of items, including fabulous homemade potato salad, pasta salad and an Asian salad. The potato salad is my absolute favorite! My steak was perfectly cooked and smothered with mushrooms and Bleu Cheese. My meal came with a side,I chose the baked potato with works! Needless to say, I couldn’t finish my meal, so I was able to have a second meal with the leftovers!
