I came for the char siu and left questioning my life choices. It was dry, tasteless, and depressing.
Bonus points for the dirty glass and staff who looked like they hated being there.
Some dishes were okay, but I was too busy regretting everything to care.

If you’re into lamb, then you might try ordering the lamb since it’s soft and my kids like it.ordered some fried rice and crispy pork and mostly my kids the one eating it.will come back again

Have eaten here a few times with family and we have always had a great experience. Portions are nice and large for family style sharing just as they suggest. Quality of all options is always solid and the service never disappoints. Have had a range of dishes from soups (the Wor Wonton is great), to rice and noodles dishes (the Singapore Noodles are fantastic), and staples like Peking Duck and Beef with String Beans. Will definitely return for more.

Father's Day meal for me. Excellent service. Family style dining. Everything was great! Will return for the fried lobster!

The prices go up, the portions get smaller, and the quality has SUFFERED. Been going here for several years now, and might I say, everything is just worse. Or maybe I'm old. Nah it sucks now. Skip it and look for a dirtier chinese place with bigger portions and better food.

Also, stale fried rice, uncooked bok choy, pekking duck good but not worth 30 bucks lol

Place looks pretty though!

When they opened 8 years ago, they were great. Ate there last night and service was very slow. Food came out in 15 minute intervals. Some the dishes were off in terms of flavor. Had to flag 2 people down to get a glass of water and that took over 20 min. Probably not going back.

Absolutely love this place! First time coming here as a treat to my birthday. all the dishes we ordered did not dissapoint. Orange beef was soo good! All the dishes taste great like i ate at China town.. just more upscale.

Food was great, i love it! But some of the staff were not accommodating. I asked for chilli sauce to one of the staff and he just stared at me and told me “which one” many times and not offering me choices until I asked. He even smirked/laughed at me after. Kind of rude actually.

China Republic is a beautifully-decorated restaurant offering a variety of specialty dishes in Rancho Cucamonga.

I’ve dined here 4 times now and can give a fair review based on my experiences here.

LOCATION
China Republic is conveniently located on Foothill Blvd. just east of the 15 freeway. It is easy to find as the restaurant faces the main street and is close to the freeway.

PARKING
There are plenty of parking spaces around the plaza. Just be careful walking across to the restaurant, as some cars tend to zoom fast near the plaza entrance.

INSIDE
I love the simple decor here. Love the contrast of the white and espresso brown columns, and accents of blue. It just has a very desirable atmosphere as it’s different from most Chinese restaurants around the Inland Empire. It is also very spacious and there are plenty of sections, including rooms to rent for private parties, a bar area, and the regular dinning area.

FOOD & SPECIAL DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS
Each time I visited, the servers were very attentive with our food allergies and were able to omit nuts, as well as offer suggestions that would suit our dietary needs. That was very much appreciated.

SPECIAL EVENT
During my last visit here, I coordinated a family event for about 30 people in their private room. Our guests were coming from different cities, including the birthday celebrant from out-of-state. The service was wonderful during dinner and all of our guests enjoyed the food.

FOOD
Some of the dishes we enjoyed were the following:
* Eggplant with Garlic Sauce - Very good! The eggplant wasn’t too mushy and had a good appearance.
* Beef Steak French Style - A family favorite. We loved the tender beef and how buttery it was!
* Pork Chop with Spicy Salt - What a treat! I usually don’t go for fried pork chop but they really know how to make this well. Thinly sliced yet crispy and not dry.
* Beef Chow Fun - This was okay; it tasted like any other chow fun I’ve had.
* Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp - I didn’t try this but it seemed to be popular with our guests.
* Young Chow Fried Rice - I didn’t get to try this either but the kids liked this.
* Shu Mai (Dim Sum) - Skip. I’ve had better.
* Hot Braised String Beans - One of my favorite side dishes and this one did not disappoint. The beans were perfectly blistered and delicious!
* Singapore Style Noodle Soup - I didn’t get to try this since it had seafood.

WHEELCHAIRS / WALKERS / STROLLERS
The restaurant is very spacious and should be easy to get around for those that need the space.

Overall, each visit was pleasant and the service for our last private event here turned out well. Thank you, China Republic!

Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. I can’t say the same for vegan dishes as they might use fish sauce or eggs.

Dietary restrictions: We have family with food allergies and they were able to accommodate us or made some excellent recommendations

Parking: Plenty of parking here around the plaza. Just be careful as you are walking toward the restaurant, as the cars tend to drive fast at the plaza entrance near the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: The kids were behaved and liked the food.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible and spacious restaurant. There shouldn’t be any issues. They have wooden seats and booths.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant whenever I’m in the area for several years now. Located in a sizable shopping center, so lots of parking available. It’s nice to have decent dim sum available in the area. Not a huge selection, but most of them are pretty good. Their regular dishes are also very tasty. I’ve always had great service here. During busy hours and on the weekends it can get pretty loud inside. This place definitely deserves your patronage.

Parking: Lots of parking available, never an issue

Kid-friendliness: I’ve come here with my friends and their kids, the servers were extra nice to the kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access entrance, ramp up to the sidewalk and flat doorway. Can be a little cumbersome to navigate through the aisles if you’re seated all the way in the back though. That’s more dependent on how far out people have their chairs.
