Atmosphere is better than Starbucks ! Not all Starbucks has outlets yet at this location we could do work on our Laptops all day if needed & eat healthy food through out the day so no here gets “ Hangry “ lol @ the Snickers commercial “ you’re not you when you’re hungry “. This is actual food that fills us up . Starbucks just has a bunch of junk. There’s restrooms, AC & even live plants .it’s a fact being around plants get us in a better mood ! Super cute & calm atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to this place since they opened and it’s always 10/10. I’ve never been disappointed, food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly. Lisa is the best!

Really wanted adobo chicken but they no longer have it on their menu. That was my favorite so I probably won't be back too much :(

My first time back to Citrus Kitchen since moving out of the area. Drove from Pomona to have some of the deliciousness that I remember Citrus Kitchen being- unfortunately drove away extremely disappointed and on the verge of tears because I was just so upset. Citrus Kitchen opens at 12, with their first order estimated to be ready for pickup at 12:15. Because I couldn't find shrimp on the menu to order online, I arrived at 12:00 to order in person. First off I was really taken back by the employee working the front counter. She wasn't at all friendly, and was COUGHING UP A STORM. I could HARDLY understand what she was saying because she spoke SO QUICKLY and couldn't pronounce anything on the menu. Let me just say that when Citrus Kitchen first opened, which I was witness to, it was a friendly, bustling clean option for eating. When I walked in today after a couple of years I was immediately concerned. I ordered my food and when I ordered macaroni and cheese the employee hastily responded "it's gunna take 20 minutes because all our food is made to order". I told her that was totally fine and understood that quality food was made to order. After 30 minutes of waiting for my food I started getting impatient. Never once did the employee let me know there was any issue with my wait time. After 45 MINUTES OF WAITING, I approached the counter and before I could even say anything she told me that it was going to be another 10 minutes for the shrimp I ordered. First off, I was so confused because shrimp takes about 6-7 minutes to cook- so how was it that was the item I was waiting for???? I asked her if she knew how long I had been waiting, and instead of answering my question she began to make excuses for the wait time- something about the amount of meal prep orders they received which isn't my issues as a customer. As I waited several people that placed orders for 12:15 pick ups were told they'd have another 20 minutes of wait time- BE MORE REALISTIC WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! Finally she told me that I had been waiting about 20 minutes, at which point I corrected her and let her know I had been waiting 45 minutes- 45 minutes even at a sit down restaurant is a ridiculous amount of time to wait and I'm honestly upset with myself that I allowed them to have me wait so long. I also expressed concern that the rest of my order had been sitting on the counter for about 10 minutes, at which point she attempted to LIE to me and say that it hadn't when I had been watching her pack order for 45 minutes at this point. I asked her who I could speak to about my dissatisfaction- which she never answered. I told her to refund my order at which point she asked me about how to rectify the situation. Someone in the service industry shouldn't have to ask this - they should just know. Let me add this employee argued back and forth with me for a LONG time before I said I want my food and a refund. Then came this same employee trying to figure out how to do that. Asking me for a receipt, a card number, a transaction number. She couldn't provide me with a receipt that said I had been refunded, so I finally just walked away. I was surprised to see later that she actually might have refunded me- I'll feel better about it when it clears. Food has changed drastically, as has the menu. I miss the adobo chicken they had and the citrus chicken I got was dry and a small portion of everything for what it all cost. Not sure where the macaroni and cheese is bought from but it sure isn't the home style delicious macaroni they used to have. I would say I won't be returning, but from what I saw today, I can't see this place being open much longer which is really a shame because once upon a time they were onto something.

I placed my order on the app, and specified my pick up time. When I arrived to pick up my food, the lights were off and the door was locked. I could not believe that my credit card had been billed and I was without my dinner. I checked my email, only to find Citrus Kitchen stated that my order could not be fulfilled. The kicker was that it said it would be a few days before I would be credited back. I will not be returning and giving this restaurant my business.

I like the food but since the balsamic dressing comes in a bag and isn't made in store it just isn't the same and I used to try and go like weekly and now I've only been like once in a year

I tried this for the first time and it was surprisingly really good. Usually healthy alternatives aren't very flavorful but this definitely was. I got Cajun chicken, brown rice, and bacon beans. I will definitely visit again!

I use to absolutely love this place, but I went 2 weeks ago and the portions have become so small and greedy!! I would order the Santa Maria tri tip with potato wedges and rice, they use to give me so much rice which I loved but this last time they gave me half of a small cup.. I'm sorry but they for sure lost my business, I use to come here at least every other week, I ain't paying all that for less than 2 ounces of rice, you're insane!!

Was looking for something healthy to go for lunch and found this on yelp. I ordered the salmon with quinoa & kale and local veggies with the chipotle sauce on the side. All tasted great, fresh, and portions were more than enough to be filling. A little on the pricier side but well worth it for an entire meal that was healthy and quick.

Wow! Citrus Kitchen set a new standard in local cuisine! Be prepared to be joyfully surprised at how delicious the dishes are! And if you make it take out? You will want to get out your white linen tablecloth and best silverware! That's not hyperbole. We've now tried many of their dishes and we are just stunned at the high quality and how much prep must go into each dish. I have no idea how they even make a profit! We like all their dishes and sauces! If you do take out to your home, you may just want to open a good Pinot Noir. Fine Dining to go? Really ? Yes, its always been the dream never achieved...until there was Citrus Kitchen. Wish I'd known about it sooner. The new owners are also so professional and their dedication to to high standards is so apparent. Just wait until you actually taste their cuisine! Whoa! It's so easy to become jaded our dining here in the San Gabriel Valley. No more! Citrus Kitchen is in a league of its own. Rancho Cucamonga? Really? Absolutely! Citrus Kitchen...Citrus Kitchen...Citrus Kitchen. Wow!

I hate to give this place such a low rating but after my last few visits, we won't be returning. I used to frequent this spot at least a couple of times a week for YEARS, the past few visits quality has gone way down hill, it's almost incomparable to the way it was years ago. The tri tip is now ny steak (overcooked & dry), the Mac and cheese now looks and tastes like it was previously frozen, as does the rice now! The white rice used to be so fire wow I miss it lol. The portions too are just not worth it anymore honestly. $17 for a small portion of 9 shrimp, plain rice, and plain undercooked veggies with zero flavor anymore. I hate writing this review but for the $80 I've spent on my last few visits, the food has been beyond disappointing and essentially inedible. 2 stars for the chipotle sauce and the great memories of what this place used to be lol
