d'Ellena Winery and Vineyard has recently undergone positive changes, offering a much-improved experience. The wines have become cleaner and more balanced, thanks to sourcing grapes from Santa Ynez and Santa Barbara. This shift has resulted in wines that are more enjoyable than before. The winery is working on long-term improvements, including plans to remove eucalyptus soil and replant vines to address the strong eucalyptus note some wines previously had. The tasting room has been modernized, creating a fresher and more intentional atmosphere, while the property is being cleaned up with future plans for a venue space. Visitors can enjoy knowledgeable staff and a variety of delicious wines, with a special highlight being the Sirah. However, dogs are not allowed inside or outside on the patio. Overall, d'Ellena Winery is moving in a positive direction, making it a promising destination for wine lovers.
