First, I should point out that I suspect all the glowing 5 star reviews to be the product of this restaurant's friends and families (especially the review that is using stock photos of food that are not the actual food from this place). Now, on to my impressions: Food: This is not hyperbole, but this is the absolute worst South Indian food I've ever had, and I've had plenty. The dosa was drenched in more oil than is fit for consumption. It lacked texture and flavor. I've had better dosa at North Indian restaurants, and I don't even like dosa at North Indian restaurants. 0/10. The idli were tough, dense and dry. They lacked the spongy texture that is expected of them. 3/10. Sambar was fair. About as good as those you can buy at the Indian market that you add water to. 4/10. Chutneys - average. 5/10. Service: nonexistent. One would think they would try harder to welcome customers to a new business. The young son of the woman who presumably owns this business was tasked with taking orders and bringing out the food. I had to ask for utensils, had to ask for napkins, had to ask for water. Food was getting cold while I waited for a spoon to drink the sambar with. When I asked for a glass of water, he told me to go fetch some bottled water from the cooler, which of course I'm charged extra for. He never asked if we needed anything during our meal or what we thought of the food. When we were done and waiting for a while, I proceeded to go up front to ask for the check, while he sat there with his head buried in his cell phone. We were the only customers inside the place, so clearly he wasnt busy, just apathetic and discourteous Service - 0/10. Ambiance: cafeteria chic. Eating with plastic utensils from paper plates sitting atop buffet style trays, while being charged the going rate of South Indian restaurants in Cerritos that provide actual plates, silverware, tablecloths, etc. 2/10. In summary, this is a poor representation of South Indian food. I suggest driving a bit further to find a better place. Overall grade - F.

Great food and courteous service! The uttapam was one of the things I ordered. Everything I ordered tasted like authentic South Indian food, especially the chutneys and sambhar. Must try if you love South Indian food.

Inside the Lee's sandwich store Fri-Sundays btw. Was confused on whether they replaced Lee's entirely but they haven't. I got the Masala Dosa which is a curried potato mix inside a warm dosa. I've never tried dosa before so I have no clue how it's supposed to taste but it was delicious and fairly large for the price as well. Comes with a variety of sauces to dip it with. Very yummy so I'll be coming back. I do wish the menu had pictures or descriptions because it was a little confusing as a newcomer but the person at the counter was pretty helpful.

The food here is so good! I could eat here every week! If you've never tried it before, just tell the chef it's your first time and ask her to make you best stuff. You won't regret it!

One of a kind Indian restaurant specializing in South Indian delicacies. Freshly made Dosas are a must try. It's a great family run restaurant trying to give the best home-made food. They sell batter for idly, dosas along with Sambar and chutneys which can be great option for families and individuals who doesn't have time to make them regularly. Great Initiative by the owners to give the residents in and around Rancho Cucamonga an authentic South Indian food. They are open on weekends only Friday-Sunday between 5-10PM. They are expanding their menu with weekly specials. So more to come.
