Food was missing something to the point that it felt boring, which usually isn't the case when I eat this kind of food. Service was fast and friendly. Over all just an ok experience. If you go just get the dumplings.

The hot and sour soup was super slimy and not even warm. It was room temperature and terrible. The dumplings were decent and nicely hot. Then they started mopping a few minutes before closing time so we had to tiptoe out. They should’ve waited the 5 minutes for us to leave so then they could mop. That’s a real safety hazard

First visit *** There was one individual that was abit aggressive with asking for an 5 star review which in return you were to receive a discount. I was never given one. 👎🏼
2nd & 3rd visit-New review👉 After dining there multiple times most of the staff continues to be friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately we’ve made the decision not to dine there any more. The portions are very small and the taste is at best just okay.

Would you expect Lipton tea when you order black tea at a Chinese restaurant? No! The food is way too overpriced. The service is subpar. The server serves food to the EDGE of the table and we have to bring those dishes to in front of us ourselves. I would never come back again.

The lady taking our order is nice.

The cucumber salad, terribly disappointing. Tasted like plain cucumber and cilantro. No garlic or ginger. Just bland. Dumplings were great unless you want flavor. The only option was some chili sauce. No kind of soy vinegar dipping sauce. Had to make my own. Very sad. As for the “hot and sour soup,” it tasted literally like smoke. Nothing more. Panda Inn has way better hot and sour soup. Just sad.

I discovered Dumpling Master through an Instagram video that highly recommended the place, so I saved it on Google Maps for a future visit to Rancho Cucamonga. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the glowing reviews I’d seen online.

This review focuses strictly on the food, as the service itself was not an issue.

I started with the cucumber salad, which was underwhelming. It tasted like plain cucumber with a hint of sesame oil but lacked seasoning or any depth of flavor. It was bland and forgettable.

Next, I ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings, which were a major disappointment. Upon biting into one, I noticed a strong, unpleasant pork odor that completely overshadowed the taste. The stench was so off-putting that I asked the waiter to confirm it, which they did. The smell suggested low-quality pork, possibly stored improperly, and it ruined my appetite for the rest of the meal.

I also tried the xiao long bao, which, unfortunately, had a similar porky odor. While the spices masked the smell somewhat, the overall dish was still lackluster. The dumplings were lukewarm when served, with barely any soup inside, which was a major letdown given their premium price. Serving only six xiao long baos of this quality for such a high price felt unreasonable.

Despite the positive reviews I’d seen, my experience was disappointing, and I can’t recommend Dumpling Master to others. If you’re looking for authentic and flavorful food, I suggest saving your time and money and exploring other restaurants instead.

I came here to try their xiao long bao ($10) and onion and beef dumplings ($13.99). The place was clean with plenty of staff around to help. I was seated quickly and they took my order as well.

The dumpling sauce table was self-service with jars of black vinegar, soy sauce, chili oil, chopped garlic, and sesame oil. The dumplings arrived nicely hot with a bit of a wait time. The beef and onion dumplings were juicy and steaming hot. They went well with the sauce that I made.

The xiao long bao was ok, it did not have a lot of broth inside and the dough was a bit thicker than other restaurants I've tried.

The place has a good amount of seating inside with a good parking lot size.

i was looking for a place to eat after my hike and saw this restaurant! the food looks so delicious so i came to check it out. upon arriving, no one greeted us or let us know that they would be with us. we stood around for a couple of minutes, even wrote my name down for a table. no one acknowledged me in the restaurant. another party of 3 came in shortly after us and the waiter greeted them and asked for how many. they got seated right away. i feel like it’s so unfair that i was treated this way. i really wanted to try the food here and was excited for it but the service was really bad. maybe it was the way i was dressed or who knows. i don’t appreciate the treatment. if i could give 0 stars for the service, i would.

The portion is not worth the price as compared to other restaurants. The food is a little under seasoned. I had the hot & sour soup which warm, sour, and not spicy. This place charges the same price as the more famous Ding Dai Fung but taste is far from it. It tase like it was bought at the supermarket and heated up.

Service was horrible. We didn’t even get half of our food. The whole point of going to the restaurant was because we wanted to chase their dumplings and they didn’t even bring them out to us. We had to keep asking and they just kept saying they’re were busy. very overpriced, especially when we didn’t get all our food and didn’t even get to taste any dumplings. my husband had to send his suit back because it was cold and had to eat weird taste. I don’t recommend.
