I NEVER really give out 5 stars! And I even made sure to visit 3 times before leaving a review. But this place deserves 5 stars! The food is so good! And the staff is very friendly. I like that it's a family run business, this are usually the best. Did I mention how good the food is. I ordered a burrito twice and the portion size is generous, the way a burrito should be. You will have left overs. I also tried their taco Tuesday. This is definitely going to be my new go to. Can't wait to try other things on the menu.

We've been going to, and enjoying El Tio Alex for several years now, but this weekend was the first time we've used them for catering. My guests raved about how great the food was and I was thrilled with the portions, taste, price and quality of the food. I highly recommend using them if you're having an event that you'd like to have catered. The owners are wonderful and so helpful!

I came here for lunch one day. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Discovered they also did a Sunday brunch. We are always looking for a different Sunday brunch place. El Tío Alex didn't disappoint. The brunch buffet was decently priced at $28/person, and with all Mexican buffet favorites. The menudo and pozole were on point. But my favorite was the ceviche. The brunch included mimosas. During the holidays they served Grinch Mimosas! . Delicious. Highly recommend!

La comida y el servicio estuvo de calidad, las meseras me hicieron sentir como en casa. El lugar están muy limpio y la comida te llega muy rápido. Llegue en un grupo de 10 personas y todos nos fuimos satisfechos y muy llenos. Los platillos tiene buena cantidad de comida, yo en particular me pedí un menudo no le tome fotos de lo tan Rico que se veía y solo me lo comí hahaha delicioso por cierto!! Creo que este será unos de mis lugares favoritos cada vez que valla a Socal. Ambiente familiar perfecto.

At first glance, it appears to be a small dining area but they also have a large room in the back. The real star of the show is the food!! Extremely flavorful and the portions are very large. One of the best wet chicken burritos I’ve ever had and it’s massive! I can eat a lot of food but I only eat half of it. From the chips and salsa to the friendliness of all the staff, go try this place and be a returning customer!
You won't be disappointed. I'm pleased to have such a great Mexican restaurant near me. Staff/servers have the best customer service skills and the food is good. The restaurant itself is nice and larger than you'd think. I look forward to coming back for their happy hour.

Really good Sunday buffet with bottomless mimosas. Very freshly made and yummy. Would come back to try lunch and dinner menu hit the buffet had enough choices and was super good. The customer service was great our waitress was very sweet!
