Flamingo Palms Cuban Cafe has great food and great customer service. The papa rellenos are outstanding!

Casual place for fantastic Cuban food. We started with beef empanadas - crispy exterior, tasty beef filling - loved the accompanying sauce - added a nice herbaceous brightness! My husband has the mofongo de pollo - outstanding dish. I'm normally not the hugest fan of chicken - but this chicken was tender and throughly flavorful. I had the filete de salmon - the sauce was divine - complemented the tender salmon beautifully. All the accompanying sides (rice, beans, plantains, etc) were all delicious as well. They also had a special for $2.50 beers (until 6pm, I believe). Friendly, helpful service.

Food: Authentic, flavorful, and definitely something I crave weekly! Every time I have eaten here, the food has been amazing. The Pollo Asado is so good! I love the empanadas and will always ask for extra sauce. I never have tried the biztec, but 3 out of 4 people I know who have tried it have said that their chicken was dry. The Pollo Asado is always fall off the bone juicy! Experience: Clean, nice environment. I don't mind, but some may not like that you must order/pay at the counter and wait for your plates to be brought out. Customer Service: I have noticed that the girls can be friendly, but my first few times the vibe was not very friendly. These times were for takeout and it was later in the day. When I actually decided to sit down and eat there during lunch they were angels!! Remember that they are human too and long working days can alter all of our moods. Takeout: I do not recommend ordering takeout later in the day. Each time I have ordered for dinner the orders were missing key items on the plates. Most likely due to rushing to go home or not wanting to make more of something as it gets closer to closing time. The first time we were missing plantains and 2 empanada orders. We had to drive back and we're not really satisfied with the results of the service. The second time no sauces that I asked for were included. When I eat their they are happy to provide extra sauce. They don't seem to want to give you any to go. Lol I recommend dining in or checking your food on the counter before you go. It's not rude to make sure you're getting what you paid for.

I had the absolute pleasure of eating at this restaurant today. It is hands down the best Cuban food I have ever had. I ordered the monfongo puerco and I was exceedingly surprised by how amazing it was. The pork, cooked to perfection (tender and juicy!); the maduros, so sweet and chewy; and the mofongo, the most moist and flavorful mofongo I've ever had! And not only that, but the portions are very generous! Thank you so much to Bre and all of the staff! They were so kind and attentive! If you're thinking about eating here, just do it!!

Used to be great. Used to be a full service restaurant. Unfortunately, now you order at the counter and, are given a tray with your silverware, appetizer plates and glasses to get your own drinks. Might be ok but still charge fullservice restaurant prices. Good bye flamingos

I miss the music, I miss the personal service, I love the food. Before COVID, it was more family style.. now it's like alll the fast food places, nothing unique

It's been a while since we been here. We came for Mother's Day and we found that it's not full service anymore it's like takeout. We were disappointed on that. Food was still good, it's what kept it from less stars. Service was not the best, food was brought fast but drinks took too long we had to remind them several times. They were just disorganized and it showed. We are probably not going to come again. We liked full service.

Driven by many times and never stopped. Never had Cuban food but enjoyed my first entrée. Service was good, food was good and establishment was clean.

OMGGGG THIS FOOD IS SOOO DELICIOUS. The staff is so kind and the owner is gorgeous. I ordered the whole menu and it seemed to be ready in the blink of an eye. I got the Mfonongo, potato ball, empanadas, Cuban coffee. IT WAS SOOOOO HOID I CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY.

1st time here. The food was very flavorful and plenty. First time eating Cuban food and it was excellent. The vibe was good, Brianna was very friendly and tentative. Oh not to mention the mojito's were great. I recommend this spot and will make the trip from Riverside to come again.
