So I am not quite sure what happened. I don’t know if they’ve had a managerial change, but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any IHOP. My pancakes were dry and literally I couldn’t even pick up with a fork My sourdough bread was stale So I was told by my server they no longer offer whipped butter, so the butter was cold and literally broken into pieces I will not be returning to this IHOP And I should’ve just stuck to my old faithful The HITCH and BLACK BEAR DINER

They had great food but they were very busy but I did want Mayonnaise with my sandwich and I tried getting it but had a hard time getting a hole to the waiter. Otherwise they were terrific

My mom and I came in for brunch on Sunday and had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to receive our food, even for a Sunday rush. We were seated quickly but it took well over 30 minutes to receive our food. The table next to ours was seated after us and received their food before we did. After our server took our order, we never saw him again. He would pass by and check on every one of his other tables except ours. My mom and I waited for almost 30 minutes after we finished our meals for him to come back around so we could ask for a to go box and our check but he never came to our table. He eventually passed by us and said he'd bring our check, we waited for another 15-20 minutes before we eventually asked a different employee for a box and our check.

We went this morning for breakfast, since we celebrate Mother’s Day today. This was our first time at this IHOP and we were pleasantly surprised with the service, since we entered we were greeted and welcomed so kindly, our server Michelle was so courteous and attentive also. For us, service is the major reason to either go back or NEVER to go back to a restaurant and we will gladly be coming back to this IHOP even if we have others closer to our home. Congratulations to the Manager for training your employees in such a way that customers feel so welcome here!
Service was a little slow due to not enough personnel but they were very friendly and we felt welcome. Food was great, too. First time I had a burger at ihop and by my surprise, it was very good. Fries were on point! Be careful with the 🧂 salt shaker though as you could ruin your fries..

When making reviews about restaurants, I like to categorize my critiques based on Service, Food Quality, and Price. Service: Service is what you'd expect. Employees are polite and very nice. At the same time, they aren't too attentive. That could be a result of the shortage of employees or the fact that there can sometimes be a lot of guests. I understand. Still, 3 stars. Food Quality: When you come to Ihop, you expect a certain taste. That's why you come to begin with. They've still got it. The bad thing is that the portions have become a lot smaller. So....3 stars Price: I'm sure most of you have been coming to Ihop for years. It's a household name. I definitely have. That's why it's sad to see it fall victim to shrinkflation. Portions have become a lot smaller while prices have been a lot higher. Not worth it anymore in my opinion. Though that can definitely be arguable for some...so 3 stars.
