First time to the establishment, I will definitely be returning when I am in the area again. Food was 5/5, Service 5/5, location very convenient.

Food was okay, nothing crazy. What upset me and my family the most is our service. Our server forgot about us the whole time. We asked for chips and salsa when ordering drinks and they came when our food arrived. A family was behind us and they came in way after we did and they had already got drinks, ordered their food and received their food before the same server came and got our order. I ordered a drink and I had to remind 2 different people about it until before we got our checks they brought it out. On top of the crappy service, they charge a 18% service fee on your bill so they basically tip themselves which is outrageous because I would have gotten better service at a basic restaurant. Definitely not recommending this place and location to anyone.

Omg! Stopped in for a quick bite and adult beverage to end this successful day. Ordered long Island and taco barbacoa 🌼 😋 which was absolutely. Team Smiley

Whenever there's a live band the music is so loud you can't hear your own thoughts. Overall I do recommend this place. Just tone down the music

My family brought us here for the first time, and we were not disappointed! This place was phenomenal. The staff was courteous, patient, and attentive, not to mention fast!

My husband ordered a margarita when we placed our dinner order, and shortly after the waitress walked away, another server approached with his drink. The chips, salsa, and guacamole arrived right after that. The chips were warm and didn’t taste like the store-bought bagged chips that many restaurants serve. The guacamole was served in a lovely molcajete and was the best we’ve ever had at a restaurant. We didn’t even finish the chips before our dinner was delivered. The staff continually checked on us, ensuring all our needs were met and our water glasses were never empty, which is very important to us.

Although we weren’t celebrating a birthday, the table next to us was, and the staff put on an incredible celebration for them. There was a huge lit-up sign, singing, and sparklers—it was amazing! The manager even came around to check on our table and was seen sweeping and cleaning up.

The food was hot and filling. I had the chile rellenos and enchiladas, while other plates at our table included fajitas, a burrito, and a soft taco plate. The decor was vibrant and colorful, making us feel like we were on vacation somewhere (which we actually were, as we were visiting family).

Their website says they open at 9am, but after standing outside for 20 minutes with no sign of life, I finally called—only to be told they open between 9:30 and 10am. If you don’t open at 9, don’t advertise that you do. It’s frustrating and unprofessional to waste people’s time.

1st time at Kalaveras and my last, the atmosphere is dark and dreary. The waitress didn't tell us any specials or that we had to add the toppings ourselves to our tacos. The tacos were smaller than my fist. It was lunch and I can see why they weren't busy, even on Taco Tuesday. Very disappointed.

Service is great. As I'm sitting here now. But i've seen the review on somebody posting cups that were dirty, and I agree, we might have had the same cups. But employees are great.

If you're cancelling bamda night until August, why don't you take the sign down?

Although our server was nice there were lots of things wrong with other aspects. It was our first time going and we heard there was a brunch but when we sat there was no brunch menu, the hostess didn’t give us one. As we were all about to leave, the server got us the brunch menu. I ordered menudo and that stuff was so HOT like spicy that my stomach has yet to recover today. The meat wasn’t cooked correctly and was tough. The meat was soaked in whatever chile was used and the soup was minimal. I sent it back and got what my aunt had instead. My mom ordered pozole and it had one piece of chicken and the additional server practically shoved the plate in front of her. My brother got the chilaquiles and they were beyond spicy(and he likes spicy) needless to say the experience wasn’t a good one and we won’t be coming back here at all.

I don't give a lot of 5-stars, but man, the brunch buffet was really good. Taco bar, pancakes, enchiladas, churros, mimosas, and more. $40 is a bit high for it, but the food was good.

We were there for my Daughters graduation at first a bit confused we were put in a area that looked like the dungeon part of the Resturant on the phone they told me that 19 was the limit but the area was huge and we definitely could have had more guest, thankfully because we were in the dungeon there was a upside it wasn't as loud so we could hear one another talk . Our server was great she did not forget about us â˜ș the most important thing our graduate had a lovely time food was good no complaining when check came it was perfect thank you we will definitely be coming back
