THE BEST MEXICAN OMELETTE in the IE! Oh my word, I tried Madres' Chilango Omelette with red sauce and oof, it was destiny that I ate it. It's everything you'd imagine and more. Stuffed with red or green chilaquiles, layered over black beans with sour cream, sprinkled panela cheese, topped with red onion and topped with cilantro. Are you on board yet?
I also ordered the Chocolata Pancakes. Think chocolate pancakes garnished with strawberry slices, a scoop of chocolate ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup, and almonds. Ice cream for brunch was an edgy move and it worked! Lastly, I had a abuelita chocolate latte, yes, with THEE iconic chocolate. The latte was delicious, I was surprised I wasn't in a sugar crash afterwards.
Overall, I enjoyed the cafe. The neon lights, faux foliage, and Pokémon-esque music had a cute, whimsical feeling. My Mom and I sat near the neon signs at a booth/table. Seating was comfortable and the restaurant was halfway full. Everything was peaceful and we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our host, a guy from the Riverside location was AMAZING! On the other hand our waitress, was a little dismissive of me at the beginning, however she changed her tune by the end of the visit.
Note, parking is limited. This Madres location is found in an older shopping plaza with tight spaces and cramped parking slots. Additionally, most items on the menu are $15 or more. Plan accordingly :)

1st photo - Iced Mazapan Latte 10/10 the iced latte was delicious, topped with whipped cream and mazapan, soooo yummy! 2nd photo - Cafe con Leche just a simple unsweetened coffee with whole milk 10/10 3rd photo - Chilango Omelette i loved the flavor of the black beans with cheese, did not taste like canned beans (i hateeee the flavor of canned beans) the chilaquiles were tasty, a unique flavor, spice level was like 7/10, the eggs were cooked perfectly, not over or under cooked 10/10 would order again! 4th photo - Chilaquiles Rojos with Birria the birria was tender and juicy, the chilaquiles were tasty as well. 10/10 would order again
the service was amazing, our server Cesar was attentive, kind and patient, serviced with a smile
the restraint was clean, had many options including vegan options. i will 100% come again!

Got there and waiters couldn’t figure out where to place us. Took a bit but overall they were kind and accommodating. The chilaquiles were really good just wish for more eggs and meat. The coffee was so good. They had a variety of drinks and noticing the other meals being served I’d love to try more. Overall great place to come back to.

So I order the red Chilaquiles with asada - flavor of the sauce was good but the asada had no flavor whatsoever. My daughter order the mole and same sauce was good but the rest had no flavor and food was cold. To top it off they charge so much for their food, that they can at least serve filter water , not tap water. Nasty !!! So bring your own water .

Great and amazing food!!! Me and my lady come after church very often and they never miss on the quality of the food highly recommend the green chilaquiles and the special coffee flights. Gm is pretty cool dude too!!
At Madres food delicious, Giant portions. Owned by 3 Mexicans guys amazing proud of them. I recommend every dish . Good and fast services

Very good place, huge food servings, wonderful service, super busy but coffee and food are prepared quickly, we tried the breakfast sandwich and the egg combo plate, we enjoyed our food and the salsas offered were delicious, we had coffee as well, we tried americano and house coffee, both were good, we definitely recommend this place, keep in mind it get pretty busy so there may be a bit of a wait, just know is worth it.
