Mamá Por Dios - Rancho Cucamonga

My experience at Mama Por Dios was excellent, I came here with my mom for lunch/dinner. We ordered margaritas, guacamole de chicharrón de ribeye and esquite for the appetizer. For our entrees, we ordered Peruvian ceviche and lamb chops. Drinks and food were delicious and service provided was great. 

Yesterday was not our day as our full experience was a bit bad , wrongly made food ( specified wanted our steaks well done- was not done well done) Drinks were subpar not really good had to replace 2

Friendly and attentive staff! Drinks were great. One of the best guacamole's I've had. The pastor was delicious and the presentation was awesome!! Will definitely be returning!!

I chose Mamá Por Dios for a special occasion and was extremely disappointed. Service was unprofessional, multiple incorrect drinks were pushed onto our table, and on more than one occasion alcoholic drinks were offered to minors in my party—even after I made it clear they were underage. The signature shots I ordered were rushed and not presented as advertised. I reached out to management and corporate but have not received any response. A restaurant with this reputation should provide better service and accountability.

We booked the birthday package for my daughter's 21st, expecting the big celebratory treatment they're known for. That's the main reason to come here not the food or service, which are less than just average. Because we had a 4 teenagers (11-15 yrs old) with us (including the birthday girl's sibling), they used that as a reason to withhold the complimentary champagne which I don't understand we were a total of 9 adults including the birthday girl but they also skipped the entire birthday presentation, they just brought a cake that we previously bought (somewhere else), like any other restaurant will do. They easily could have done the celebration without alcohol, or just bring it to the adults yet every other table around us with birthdays got that attention. Imagine your daughter watching others get celebrated while hers is ignored. To make matters worse, when I called ahead, they told me they had a DJ. There was no DJ. Playing Spotify or generic ambiance music does not count. On top of all that, there's an automatic 20% gratuity (most places charge 18%). I'm not sure what makes this place think they've earned the extra. We won't be returning to MXD and judging by how empty it usually is, I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Food was horrible and overpriced. I ordered the fajita mix. The steak had no flavor and the chicken was very dry. The beans tasted and looked like if it was a day old. My date ordered mole enchiladas and that dish was not hot and fresh as it should have been. We also ordered appetizers. The bacon wrapped shrimp wasn't fully cooked the bacon was raw still! The elote was cold and tasted disgusting. And The drinks were too sweet. 

food is phenomenal, esquite is fire, guacamole is awesome, queso fondido is tasty, the camarones roca is life changing, we've tried multiple dishes on their menu and it's all been excellent, it's more Mexican fusion than authentic Mexican but i recommended it all

I went here on a Date. We were seated, greeted by our waiter. He took our drink order and he brought mine it was a beautiful presentation. My dates drink took almost 20 minutes to get to him, he ordered black label, the ice looked like it had been used halfway melted, he said they ran out of ice. We could hardly understand our waiter, he tried to explain the ice situation and started trying to be funny. It was awkward. My steak was really good, the strawberry salad was delicious my date decided on chicken and it was the worst decision, chicken was very dry and mostly all bones. He was very disappointed and I felt bad that he had a terrible experience with his drink and food. He was still kind and tipped very well despite the issues.

We went for my birthday. Drinks were good. Food was ok. Not everyone was served at the same time. Some of the food was cold. My steak was overcooked. Service was good at first but lacked in the end. We couldn't find our server and had to go look for him. We brought our own cake and just wanted them to bring it out to the table so we could cut it and go. They had already sang and did their birthday thing that they do twice and then they did it a third time when they brought out the cake which was nice, but unnecessary. By then we were ready to go and just wanted to kind end the night. My mom was trying to pay and leave but they took forever to bring the bill so she left money on the table with me because she had to get home for work in the morning. I had seen other reviews about the place being fun, but the food not being that good in the service lacking so I expected as much but when our server was so attentive in the beginning, I thought maybe the others had just had a bad experience, but then it was more of the same.

Nice atmosphere but service wasn't the greatest, ordered chicken with salad and a beer , salad came soggy , beer almost room temperature, sat at table for 15 mins before even being serviced

Amazing experience from start to finish! The service was outstanding, Jose Luis took such great care of us and made the whole evening even better with his friendly and attentive vibe. The food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and just the right amount of lively. Highly recommend this spot, definitely coming back!

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was beyond delicious, and the drinks were not only tasty but beautifully presented. Huge shoutout to our server Jose Luis - super friendly, attentive, and made the night even better. Can't wait to come back!

We were wanting to try this place for a while and finally went. Waitress was pleasant but immediately tried to upsell most expensive appetizer on the menu before we even had to chance to review the menu. Husband asked for a glass of wine and she tried to upsell a whole bottle for $62. Drink prices on menu were not the same as on the receipt. Diet Coke is either not refillable, very expensive or we were charged for two because it was $7. Husband ordered two glasses of wine at $14 each on menu, but we were charged $16 each. We ordered guacamole which was a good portion and delicious. Food was good. Ambience is fun for a celebration. We went at 6:00 on a Friday night and it was pretty slow, definitely more a late night, party vibe.

If i could give it 0 stars I would. Very horrible customer service.

I was sat down by a host that said a waiter will be with us in a few minutes, 30 minutes pass still no waiter comes to checks on us at all!! Not even asked us what we would like to start off to drink. Terrible service! 30 minutes was unbelievable I got up and left, so ridiculous never again. Wasted my time!
