We had stopped coming to this place because of customer service. Sadly nothing has changed. The waiters huddle around the kitchen and register area acting as if they are busy. They don't check on you and see if you need anything.
Food is ok and have done better with the portions.

The food here is so good!!! I only come here when I really want it or it’s a special occasion because it can be pricey but nonetheless the food is very good and the portions are good sized as well. The service is a bit lacking as we had our food come out at different times and had to ask for eating utensils. Overall though, I’ll tolerate the lack in service because the food is good. Their alfajores are good too!

Excellent food, but the seafood was sitting on a mountain of French fries. Saltado de Mariscos includes fries, but not too many.

Bad service, the manager treated us badly and made us wait 1 hour for a table and they never gave it, what a terrible service I really don’t recommend it

Walked in and waited at the front door for about 15 minutes. There is a sign at the front that says wait to be seated. All the while, employees continuously looking at us and going about their business without ever assisting us. Further, it was not that busy and there was ample open seating.

I decided to stick around because of the reviews. All I can say is wow, either the reviewers don’t know good food, or maybe this was a bad night for them. The chicken was week old biscuit dry. The rice was rice and the plantains weren’t great either. The food was not good AT ALL. If you want good Peruvian, check out Caveman in LA area.

The food here is really good. The seasoning is distinctly Peruvian. I gave it 4 stars because every time I order the lomo saltado at this place, I can count 7 little pieces of meat. Instead, they fill your plate with rice and fries. This dish should normally come with quite a bit of meat. This Monday, the manager forgot to buy bread for the starter. I asked them and they said, "It's gone!" But all in all, it's a good restaurant. I recommend it.

I was looking forward to enjoying the great taste of peruvian food. My experience was not favorable as the other reviews I read. I started with the fried plantains (madurito frito). One would say this would be a given. Although I could not complain about the flavor, the plantains were served lukewarm and we were not given extra plates as appetizer plates. Then I ordered Pollo a la Brasa. The flavor was different, although not bad. It just seems like the flavor did not penetrate all the way in. The breast did not receive any of the spices. And the chicken was not hot. Once again, we were not given plates to serve ourselves from the shared meal. It was an overall uneventful experience. I think there better options for tasty peruvian food in the area.

ROACHES! This place has Roaches! Not just one but many! I found them in the bathroom and the hallway to the bathroom. I told the acting manager about it and she was so passive and dismissive about the fact that there were ROACHES. She said they were from outside not inside which doesn’t make sense at all bc of course they came from somewhere but why were they there. They had German roaches. I wish the acting manager would have handled the situation differently but just the dismissive attitude was completely uncalled for. She did offer a dessert but why would anyone want to continue eating there after finding many roaches. Absolutely disgusting. Disgusting establishment and attitude from the acting manager.
