Moved here from the south 20 years ago and tried every bbq joint just to be disappointed until I ate here . On point bbq ! Everything I tried was the way I remember good bbq . Highly recommend

After tasting a sample piece of rib tip, I thought I had found a great barbecue spot. So I purchased the rib dinner. I was disappointed because I received the ends of the rib that was very hard meat and the last pieces of the slab. Not anywhere as good as the sample piece.

I have been looking for good bbq and nothing till I came here. The ribs have so much flavor mmmmm. Greens are perfectly cook with lots of flavor. Brisket is delicious, the coleslaw needs a little more vinegar and juicy. But is the best bbq in the IE so far.

Love this place! Easily the best barbecue in the IE. I’ve lived in Kansas City and I would rank this place right up there with Arthur Bryant’s and Oklahoma Joe’s. Give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed. The brisket sandwich is outstanding! All of the sides are great. Although I can’t speak to the greens because I’m not a fan of greens in general. But everything else I’ve had. Everything else is fantastic.

Got dry, old rib tips. I guess thats my fault though for going to any bbq spot at the end of business day. Ran out of mac and cheese so I chose a different side. Greens, bland. Potato salad, exceptional.
