Mr. Baker Finest Bakery & Cafe

I went to two other local bakeries in Rancho Cucamonga for a custom made birthday cake but they couldn’t meet the deadline. My neighbor told me about Mr. Baker. They knock the ball out of the park. The design was actually what I wanted and the cake was absolutely delicious. The guest loved it. We have visited the bakery several times since and have not been disappointed.

I got a pecan bar, slice of matcha cake and a carrot cake cupcake. The pecan bar was delicious, I just love pecans. The matcha cake was my absolute favourite though. Very flavourful, light and fluffy frosting, and a nice matcha flavour, could have been stronger though. Now, the carrot cupcake was so disappointing. I love carrot cake, so I was really looking forward to the cupcake. It tasted stale like it had been in the refrigerator too long, the frosting had almost a chew to it, and I've never had chewy frosting before. I understand that throwing away goods can be very costly to any business, but once the pastries start to taste like fridge or lose their flavour, it's time to throw them away. Taste these pastries before you put them out and ask yourself, would I be happy about this if I were a customer?

I went in to get a tres leches cake. The atmosphere is nice and employees, she asked me what I wanted written and I said this n Spanish if it’s possible she said yes of course 1 minute as I’m paying she said i accidentally wrote it in english so I’m you to give you a frozen cake just don’t put it in the fridge?? I said the English is fine whatever. I get home and when it gets time to cut the cake there was no milk moist consistency? The cake was fluffy it had no flavor and so dry.. Tres leches is not that!

The tiramisu latte is legit amazing, worth every cent. It's presentation and flavor is unparalleled! The wide selection of desserts and bakery items is impressive, so yummy!!

There cakes are absolutly wonderful, delicious.
But the presentation is not so good. The slice of cake is wrapped in plastic foil, difficult to get off. On a carton plate.
With those prices you expect a little bit more.

LOOOOOVE THIS BAKERY! I go here every now and then to get a little serotonin treat, and am just absolutely enamored by this place. This bakery got my boyfriend hooked on macarons (his favorite is the earl gray; perfect if you don't really have a super sweet tooth) and got ME hooked on crème brûlée. Both are absolutely amazing. The ambience is nice, there's a lot of seating inside and outside, and they offer a lot of little pastries with flavors I don't really see at a lot of other places. The variety is amazing, and honestly one of the biggest pluses. The pecan tart is so good I always get a couple - one to enjoy my coffee and a few more for the road. The staff is super friendly and nice and really helpful! Love, LOVE this place!
