OJ had gone bad, it has started fermenting. The food was even worse. And when we told the waitress, she said”you didn’t like it?” Quality of the food was POOR. At least we didn’t get sick, but they did hand us a $50 bill for an awful breakfast.
Cute diner with great food and excellent customer service.
Definitely a hidden gem in the city.. you've probably passed this place up a million times. I went on a early Sunday morning looking for breakfast spots and this place popped up.
Food was 10/10 , service 10/10 definitely a nice lil spot for breakfast they do close early and fill up fast.
Nancy May’s was delicious and the service was outstanding for a party of 20. I wish I had the lady’s name who waited on us, customer service at its finest.
Waited a hr 20 mins was told there was no tables available but other families would walk right in and be seated not sure if are family was wearing the wrong color suits but it sure felt like it after waiting that long just told my to kids let's go somewhere else I would haven't rather been told nothing available then just letting everyone go first we've been many times before and never experienced this before but won't be back after this .
Great service and great food.
Stopped by this gem after camping in Joshua tree and couldn’t be more excited, place like this is absolutely a rare find, true American diner with the sweetest server who told us a story of this place and gave us little excursion! Amazing music and food they even helped my vegan husband to choose delicious options. Would definitely be back again, thank you for keeping this place and serving your customers for years🙏☺️
50s atmosphere, 50s quality service, today's prices but worth it.
Best eggs Benedict in a 20 mile diameter staff is awesome
My experience at Nancy Mays Cafe was incredible! I had the chili verde, and it was outstanding—full of rich, bold flavors that left me thoroughly impressed. The customer service was extremely, extremely good, making the dining experience even better. If you’re looking for a place that serves amazing dishes with a kick and provides excellent service, Nancy Mays Cafe is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

The food was horrible. We had to wait for a long time just to eat for two breakfasts. It was $60. Ridiculous. I could have went to Gina's and ate for last and that dirty inside floor was dirty. Saw roach in there crawling under my table.
