Seated for two right away and a kind hostess showed us our table. About 7 minutes later an unbothered server took our drink order, I had placed my water bottle that I brought with me down at our table and the black man goes “she will have water, and for you sir?” Without me asking for water… what if I wanted something else? I’m not sure why that assumption was made. We order our appetizer and shared entree at the same time and honestly I saw better and joyful servers waiting other tables with emotions and manners. The food was good, we had ordered the combo kabob and chicken plate, it was about $25 servings about two. My dad was chill asking the server for our check which took way longer than expected as if he forgot. We were paying with cash and he told us the price higher than it was out to be, around $50. My dad goes on to say “keep the change” kindly. And then he later tells us that he read the wrong tables total.
We ordered the hummus trio, and personally I think cucumbers instead of pitas was a delicious option, I would definitely rank the green, spicy, and then original from best to least favorites. The OG hummus was lacking flavor but overall great. Presentation could be nicer especially if people prefer one over the other and do not want them touching/mixing together.
For the meal, I would come back for; the chicken was a juicy, delicious, melt-in-your-mouth texture, no sauce was needed although a side of garlic would be nice especially for Arabic food. The basmati rice was a little dry, but a big portion of it was served. The Greek salad was also delicious dressed in a simple vinaigrette topped with feta cheese that came together beautifully.
In summary, I would love to come back for delicious chicken and kabob protein with the side of salad and would love to see improvement on the servers’ expressions/attitudes.

Wonderful flavors with a variety of food. I had the falafel wrap and it was perfectly cooked and moist. My kids enjoyed their pasta plates and the hummus trio for appetizers.

I visited this place for the first time today. Arrived at 11:00 AM, and by 11:25 my food still wasn’t ready. That’s 25 minutes of waiting in a half-empty restaurant with only about 5 other customers. They still took 25 minutes to prepare the order. I ended up having to take it to go because I couldn’t wait any longer. Completely unacceptable — everything is painfully slow. Be prepared to wait a long time for your food here.
On top of that, I ordered a strawberry lemonade, which was originally served in a large glass. When I told them I had to leave and needed it to go, they poured it into a small plastic cup — about half the size of the original glass. Half of my drink just vanished. And the small cup was mostly ice. This is the kind of “quality” you can expect here. Definitely not coming back.

Food is awesome, but service is horrible, lots of people waiting outside, and lots of open tables inside and outside. Got moved to several different tables waiters could not be organized with their customers, too much confusion and miscommunication among their staff.

We usually love this spot. The food is delicious normally but today for sure was not the same. We all have moments the manager was like oh I’ll give yah 20% off sorry for serving you raw chicken soggy pasta and way over cooked salmon
He gave us 20 off our appetizer a whole six bucks ! It will be a long while before we want to drop a 100 bucks or more at this spot again I’m sorry to say.

I just updated my review to a 5 because while it's really a 4.5, it's too good to round down.
I had the chicken/koobideh combo kabob plate and tried their hummus and their falafels.
The chicken: it was cooked well, but I prefer mine a little more done. Just a tad. It has a good amount of char, but not from slow charring. They just charred it up at the end. You can tell because it was closer to burn than proper charring. The portion was large. Flavor was adequate. Not the best chicken kabob in the area and not the worst. Could've used a little more seasoning. Best tasting chicken kabob in the area is probably Cafe Moderno in Montclair.
The Koobideh: perfectly adequate, but like almost every place I've tried, the texture is off likely due to the necessity of over packing the meat in order to get it to stay in the kabob blade.
Vegetables (cooked with the chicken): they were good, but needed more room on the skewer to allow the chicken to cook properly. Too much marinade was allowed to sit on them as they cooked. Same for the chicken, actually.
Rice: solid, but nothing special. It's a basmati rice with a small amount of saffron rice on top.
Salad: I had the Greek Mediterranean Salad and it was excellent. Almost the best part of the meal. Great dressing with the proper amount on the salad. Feta cheese was real and the proper amount was applied. Fantastic salad.
Pita Bread: it's the puffier style pita bread. It tastes fresh and works well with the hummus.
Hummus: good but not great. Texture was a little thin but it's big on flavor, as they are using garlic and spices to make it their own. Also needed more oil (Mezzateranean has the best hummus in the area, just beating out Cafe Moderno).
Falafel: Solid, although a little smaller than I'd like. They're very good, though. Nice and crunchy and seasoned perfectly.
Prices are more than they should be, but their portions justify it relative to their competition in the area.
Should you try it? Absolutely. It's arguably the best place of it's type in the area.

I asked after I preordered food if i can eat there and employee told me I couldn’t eat in. I felt like that was insane
Lovely looking location gets 5 🌟 but waitress was overwhelmed with too many tables, so I didn't bother her. No soda on tap..you get a can lol. Not used to getting a can unless from a vending machine. But the was not bad..it was FLAT! How is the possible when uts seal.
To the food.. normal average at best I like the grill marks but need it a sauce or something. NO any kind of sauce of any kind, so I asked for butter to add to the rice. In other places garlic sauce, and other spices sauces on the side.
I used the salad vinaigrette to dip the bland steak, overall experience was not great.
There are better choices elsewhere and I will do the same. ✌️ ❤️ 🤖

This place exceeded my expectations. Got the PKG combo plate which was excellent! Kabobs were cooked perfectly! Beef was nice and tender, flavorful but not too salty and the chicken was also tender and not dried out! Combination of flavors went really well together on the plate. Even the salad was delicious, nice and fresh. Pesto chicken sandwich was also good! You could taste the pesto and the artichokes were a nice touch! Hummus appetizer had 3 flavors which were all very different and yummy. Service was great! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Nice clean restaurant. Will definitely be back here again!

ilmy lunch was excellent. I would definitely go back. I had a chicken pesto penini with a salad. My only complaints would be the chicken was a bit dry and I had 1 thick small slice of tomato on the end inside of the sandwich. The tomato should have been sliced thinner and spread across to enable tomato in every bite. othen then that it was extremely delicious and I will return!⭐

Jasmine the manager was not helpful! Got home no pita bread and no garlic sauce. After waiting 1/2 hour for our take out that was already scheduled.
