Very cool place Delicious food REAL food, made there Pasta was delicious and the mushrooms in the porcini cream sauce were amazing! Casual dining, order at counter, pay, grab a table, get food Offer brews and wine, was surprised, small but decent selection of wine. Will have to try that next time. Will definitely be back!

I've been to Pinwheel Pasta each of the last three times I've been in the area visiting family. The service is super friendly and helpful and everything I've ordered has been delicious and generously portioned (think two meals per pasta dish). Their fresh pastas are terrific and the sauces I've tried have been delicious. The fact that they make porchetta everyday is amazing and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his sandwich. I've also had the burrata and tomato salad and the mixed greens, both of which are nice counterpoints to pasta. They also give you free freshly baked focaccia, too!

This place has good pasta! Spotted this place before heading to Las Vegas. There isn’t that much indoor space to sit, maybe 4 high tables and 1 table. They do have at least 2 high chairs, one of them a “high high” chair. When you walk in there is a huge glass door that is quite unique and it looks quite nice with the open kitchen.FoodThe pasta first of all is cooked quite nice, not too hard or too mushy, and I have got to say I enjoyed their Alfredo and Bolognese Sauce. Pinwheel pasta is quite fun and easy for kids to eat. The Sandwich they had was not bad, I just don’t like too much fat on the pork, and it didn’t help that there was a piece of skewer that I unfortunately bit into. I got to say their Caesar Salad is really good with big croutons and shaved Parmesan cheese, I just think the protein they have is quite pricey if added. It cost $6 to add some chicken to any of the meals. The food is served on togo plates and bowls and you can easily grab a lid from the kitchen. Note that they do have red crushed pepper, and they do have smart pay . I would definitely stop by again if I am in the area. Until next time !

I'm a foodie so this was on my list this past weekend. There were plenty of items I'd like to try so I'm for sure be back. Staff was kind and informative & offered me a free drink- so sweet! Let's get to it: I had the lobster pasta which has a butter wine sauce . I added mushrooms . Overall - very fresh & quality ingredients , and to me that is an automatic green flag . Definitely did not have any salt so if that's something you'd like , choose this dish The seasoning / flavor was lacking for me. It came with 4 pieces of focaccia bread that was absolutely delish and fresh . Mine was plain but there are options al a carte I'm going back to try more dishes & will update as I go! They do have a vodka sauce that isn't on the menu- so that's in the plan for me +

Pinwheel pasta is located in Rancho Cucamonga inside the same plaza as Cesar pastry. They are a small quaint authentic Italian modern restaurant with dine in and take out available. My wife and I happened to run into this place and decided to try them out first time and now second time around. Everything is made fresh to order and from scratch. Their portion is made for one to two people serving and is budget friendly dishes. We order prosciutto sandwich and is made daily until sold out. We got the creamy garlic salmon dil and pinwheel pasta on pesto sauce. We also ordered pinwheel pasta and t pasta. They offer pizza as well on menu. And bread sticks. Water was on the house dine in only. There is ample parking space around in the private communal lot. We will continue to be back for more itialiano.

Place is cute and clean but have to say very bland food something is missing needs more of something ; entering the small place to order walk to the middle of the store and was greeted by a non smiling young man with the look of what do you want. Then ordered for a family of four the pesto and fettuccine paid $80 plus tip the only good thing was the bread i understand in this economy everything is going to be expensive but if i am going to pay I at least want my food to have flavor. Remember when you greet your customers always have a smile you are the face of the company.

It's not often that I drive out to Rancho but when I do I'm always looking for some good food with my bf. This day we were going to visit my bro and on our way I seen the sign for "Pinwheel Pasta" & thought "Hmm that looks interesting." So I told my BF and he was immediately okay with trying it out since he loves pasta! I asked my brother if he ever tried it and he said yes and it was so good and the owner was super nice and treated them well when he went with his wife. He recommended the fettuccine to me & explaithat my sis-in-law loved the Alfredo so I decided to give it a try... First off, let me say I love how they make the pasta fresh and there are quite a few options. Also, I normally don't like to order fettuccine anywhere because in my opinion it's either too dry, watery, or very bland. I like mine extra creamy, cheesy, and garlicky! Well I decided to go out on a limb here and try their fettuccine since my brother said it was good and WOW! It was delicious. It was perfect to taste and so creamy I was loving every bite. My bf got the bolognese and that was also super good. We just got the pinwheel pasta just because of the name and the experience and we didn't add any protein but best believe when we go back we will switch it all up and try something new. They also give you some complementary bread which I thought was nice because I was trying to order some but was told we get some on the side! the customer service wasn't bad at all so that is a plus! The young man who took our order was super chill and nice and our food came out rather quickly. The only thing I would say was a downfall was the drink choice. They only sell canned soda or tea bottles. They offer ice if you would like some with your drink but I personally like being able to get my own ice and drink. Hopefully one day the drinks will step it up by getting a drink fountain and tea dispenser but if not it won't stop me from going back! I will definitely be returning....10/10 I recommend. P.S. Don't be fooled by the door...it looks like a huge window but it opens!!

A little on the pricier side but the pasta was enough for two meals for me personally. They served it with focaccia bread. So much yum.

Such a delicious and authentic Italian place. Casual dine in or easy take out. Ordered the Salmon and Dill along with a green salad. Pasta was amazing! Creamy and so flavorful but not heavy! Great portions! Salad was superb, made with candied walnuts and pomegranates and crumbled blue cheese. Ordered the Mortadella sandwich to go- great portion of meat, fresh pesto and focaccia bread was just perfection! Friendly service and spotless on the inside! Wonderful place!!

We tried some takeout tonight. Lasagna was excellent. The focaccia really good. Also ordered Bolognese, Alfredo and Porcini pastas. The pastas were great. Will be back!

The food is hit and miss and certainly not worth the price (gnocchi was a hit, $24 burnt and crispy lasagna was a miss). Casual and fun atmosphere with the open kitchen until you have people standing in line right next to you watching as you try and eat. Perhaps make the to-go line at the entrance the sole location for taking orders; would make for better overall experience. A self-serve soda fountain would go a long way too. Consider keeping the door closed if it's less than 65/70 degrees outside.

Ordered the chorizo shrimp pasta, Caesar salad and spaghetti fettuccine with chicken. All dishes were fresh and delicious. Focaccia bread is included with your meal. This is a contemporary Italian restaurant that prides itself on dishes made from scratch. Excellent for take out. Meals are served in biodegradable bowls but the portions are huge. Looking forward to trying the sandwiches!

No doubt the pasta is fresh and good. I appreciate seeing people working on the food and passionate about their work. Chicken add on, no recommended. It's frozen chicken breast. For $6 add on? That's overpriced. Price overall is pricy. I get it it's freshly made. And with the amount of employee, I get it. At checkout, you order before get seated and the owner it's there watching you tip. The machine automatically brings you to a $18 minimum charge of tip. Price of an actual fine in restaurant. Here they forgot my spoon, dinning wear is disposable. Feels like fast food. The food and tips is pricy. I ate 1 tagliatelle, add chicken, and a tiramisu, already came down to $28 plus tip, we are looking at lunch for 1 person $35! unsure if I will pay that again.
