Not authentic Thai food
This is not how the street food of Thailand tastes why I know? I lived there for 2 years
Also pretty expensive for the amount you get

As a Laotian I’m very sad about the food we got today. This is the second time I’ve tried to give it a chance. The papaya salad was so bad. So fishy in a bad way with zero acidity and vibrant flavors that papaya salad has. We returned it and asked them to fix it and all they did was add sugar and it was the same one! The crispy shrimp rolls were cold like they had been fried hours before. The wings were black like the oil hadn’t been changed. It was a big disappointment. The hype from other Laotians is clout and that’s just sad. The sticky rice was good but nothing to enjoy it with. I would recommend making the menu even smaller so they can get the simple things right. We spent like $100 too and actually I’ll say the drunken noodles were good. That’s it out of the 7 things we ordered.

Terrible food… save your money & never go there, overpriced and saturated in heavy cooking oils. Bad tasting food & texture. I wouldn’t stop here again even if it was free.

Sabaidee has done it. They have finally convinced me that it is stupid to tip before the food is served (and ideally eaten). Going forward, I will no longer tip at those counter service restaurants where they flip over the iPad screen and present you with “convenient” 18, 20, and 22% options.

Today was my first time ordering food at Sabaidee. Basil Fried Rice with shrimp. It took forever (27 mins) to get the food even though they didn’t have many other orders ahead of mine (I hung around watching what was going on). Everyone else in my party had gotten their food from other vendors and already eaten by the time I showed up with my food. And then the food was just very disappointing. Mushy, flavorless rice with tons of onions and six shrimp. I found exactly one small sprig of basil in my serving - no wonder it had no flavor.

Wish I had checked the Google reviews and ratings before placing my order.

Love supporting Laotian and Thai community but this was by far the longest wait time I’ve ever had and they just did not seem at all friendly when ordering. Food wasn’t the best either. It hurts but I don’t see myself coming here again. The bowl I had so much space left, and they add more rice to compensate for the lack of protein and vegetables they actually use. Do not take the photos they have on their menu as sample size. It’s way less.

This was my first time eating here this past weekend and I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai. It was a good sized portion, and the wait was average, the same as the other places my family ordered from. The only thing I’d complain about is the lemonade tasted horrible but that’s super minimal since it was only $1 extra. All in all it was good.

We had food from this place many times. During Covid, the chef was on point with the taste and balanced portions. The prawns were actually large prawns.

Recently, the past few orders been lackluster or overly cooked or salty. The sauce on the items were overly sauced. The prawns now are regular shrimps with head.

This place is failing their customers.

If you’ve you had good or even ok boat noodle before, don’t bother getting your boat noodle from here because you will definitely be disappointed…I couldn’t even finish it cause it was that bad and for the price you pay, the portion is not worth it. You can make better instant noodle at home that tastes better.

I love to support Laotian restaurants! I truly do bc I want to see them win. I went to visit this location a few months ago and it was A1! I got the papaya salad and nam khao. It was so good, flavorful and tasted very home style.I was in the area again on Friday and decided to visit before my flight back home.Well…idk what happened since my last visit. Not sure if it’s the same owners or a different chef. I ordered nam khao again. I’m expected it to be just as good as the first time I ordered it. It was so bad. I think I took like 1-2 bites and threw it out. First off, yes it is described as crispy coconut rice but good lawd it sure was overly crispy/burnt. If your Laotion, you know.I’m attaching a picture of my nam khao. I was very disappointed bc I am khon Lao and this is not how Lao food is supposed to be represented.

Terrible service. Only ordered pad Thai and drunk noodles. Waiting over an hour and food wasnt ready. I don’t recommend this place at all! Ended up going to the Shrimp Shack next door and got our food within 13 min.

I always like to support my Laotian community. This is my first time there. I order Laos sausage and shrimp roll. Personally, I think it’s very overpriced. I only got one sausage that was cut in bits and pieces. Presentation and the small amount of food was very disappointing. Most likely I will not be back.

I ordered the chicken noodle soup and mango sticky rice. The people were friendly and so is Haven City Market but this was by far the worst Thai food I have ever had in my life. The soup tasted like a whole container of salt was dumped into it, also the mango sticky rice was stale and tasteless minus the mangos. I called and asked gave them an opportunity to correct the order and they offered a 15% discount on my next order. I spent $25 dollars of food that I cannot eat. Hard pass. Won't be returning.

I tried this place a few times hoping the food improves by the next visit. After 3 tries I think I'm done for a while. The only think that was favorite so far is the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle).
