The Agave Room at Rancho Cucamonga

Despite the lively ambiance and great location, the food at this restaurant was disappointing in both quality and flavor. Dishes lacked seasoning, execution was sloppy, and even the simplest orders fell short of expectations. The service didn’t help either—our food took a long time to arrive, drinks took even longer, and we had to repeatedly ask about missing items. One of my friends ordered salmon and, after several inquiries, was finally told that her order had never even been placed.

The wedge salad was deconstructed rather than a true wedge, with barely any blue cheese to bring out its intended flavor. The nachos were bland and underwhelming. I also ordered a Cadillac margarita, but it lacked the signature taste and depth of a true Cadillac—it felt more like a basic margarita.

After dinner, many people in our large party voiced similar complaints about their meals, and overall, we all agreed that this isn’t a place we would return to. While the restaurant has potential with its fun atmosphere, the lack of quality, flavor, and organization makes it a disappointing choice. I won’t be dining here again.

The best cucumber gimlet and lemon drop we’ve ever had. Customer service was incredible and served in a timely manner. Very friendly and insightful. Definitely recommend and ask for John, he does private parties.

I had a terrible experience trying to make a reservation for my birthday. I initially tried to book online, but because of the large group size, I wasn’t able to complete the reservation. My husband went to the restaurant in person to talk to the staff, but they turned him away and told him to call instead. We left multiple voicemails, but no one ever returned our calls, and eventually, we couldn’t even leave a message because the voicemail was full.

Since it was for my birthday, I decided to go down myself to make sure we had a reservation. Thankfully, the bartender was kind enough to help, found a spot that could accommodate our group, and even provided a menu to review. I left feeling confident that everything was set.

However, on the day of my birthday, I arrived early only to be told by the hostess that there was no reservation for my group and that the tables I reserved were unavailable. She showed no empathy or concern for the situation. I asked to speak to a manager, and that’s when I met Evan.

Evan told me that the server never entered our information into the system, and he showed zero interest in fixing the situation or even acknowledging the inconvenience. By this time, all my guests had arrived, but he didn’t care to help, even though the place was half empty. I had to offer two different solutions myself just to get seated.

The food was decent—the chicken and waffles were good, and the fuzzy pineapple drink was nice. But overall, if you’re planning a special event or a large gathering, I’d suggest going somewhere else. The lack of organization and customer service just isn’t worth the hassle.

Located inside the Punch Bowl at Victoria Gardens, this spot is beautifully decorated with dim lighting, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Our drinks were excellent, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a great experience overall and look forward to returning to try some of their food options!

The menu is not what was reflected on open table or yelp. We were very disappointed. We had a cocktail, which was good but left due to menu selection, simply not what we were looking for.

I really like this place. The vibes are good and the music is fun. Also the bartender Jonny makes great drinks especially mezcal ones. I’ll definitely be coming back

To be called the agave room the selection of tequila / mezcal drinks is quite of disappointing. Probably the worst margaritas I've ever had. The menu probably have about 3 cocktails with tequila or mezcal. The beer selection is significantly larger which says it all. Sometimes they have a DJ which is fine. There are better places for drink nearby

This was our first time at Agave Room, the experience was a bit sour.
My husband asked for a stone Buenaveza, they were out. He then asked for a voodoo ranger, amazing! Then he wanted a second voodoo, turns out they were out on that too. It's so upsetting to come out to a expect to get the items listed on there menu but in reality they are OUT of EVERYTHING.
IF IT WASN'T FOR JOSH AND JOHN FOR TURNING OUR NIGHT AROUND I'D NEVER COUNE OUT HERE AGAIN.

This mezcal and tequila bar is a little haven within Punch Bowl Social. The staff are super friendly and remember you when you come back. John and Eduardo were serving us and got super creative with drinks to match our tastes. The staff were especially accommodating to our allergy concerns which is huge. The Chicano vibe is unique and made it perfect for family and friends alike. Every few weeks or so there are tastings from tequila/mezcal companies that truly make us feel like VIPs. I personally recommend their apricot chili margarita, fideo, and lobster tostada. This is our go to bar now!
