Very clean, friendly staff, amazing food and awesome cocktails. If you are looking for a quality dining experience, this is the perfect place for you!
My wife and I had dinner at ‘“The Cut” for our first time. We live near Victoria Gardens but knew nothing about this new restaurant. Restaurant is simple yet nice in appearance and ambience. It is a rather pricey restaurant and the $40 hamburger could possibly scare some potential customers away. we enjoyed our meal and our server was very nice, but it is not a restaurant that I would regularly go to.
Steak was raw and hard to cut. Had to ask them to cook it a little longer. Calamari was over cooked. And chewy. Ordered the giant shrimp and they were overcooked as well. The food was very disappointing and we were so much looking forward to eating here. Will not return!
Food is over seasoned and the blueberry lemonade was way too sweet. Also the steak, I asked for medium rare and they served me a well done steak. I would not recommend.
Definitely high-quality food. Some of the items on the menu are really pricey but honestly for the quality you're getting it is really worth it. The skirt steak sandwich with kimchi aïoli is 100% fantastic definitely will be returning for lunch and special occasions Our waitress was excellent, constantly checking if we need anything else We got the date pudding was fantastic. Definitely a great way to end the night.
I love THE CUT!! I have been a few times now and I'm never disappointed. The food is delicious and the service is great!
So loud. Could not hear my husband who was sitting across from me at a tiny table for 2. Food was okay. Wasn't hot when we received it. He liked his burger but friends were mostly burnt ends. Tator tots has no flavor and were greasy. $80 bucks later and we were not satisfied with either the food or the ambiance. Our server was very nice and attentive and the chef/owner did a table touch. Service wasn't the issue.
It was a really nice spot. I had the Bone Marrow Toast which was excellent, I also got the breakfast burrito which was pretty good but not the best I've had ever. My friend got the grab cake benedict, they enjoyed it. I had 1 bite and it was pretty good. We were there for the brunch so I had 1 of each flavor of their CUT- Mosas, both were good. Overall a great lunch! I did put on my Open Table reservation that it was a for a birthday which the restaurant didn't acknowledge and I didn't bring it up again as not to embarrass my friend (they don't love that sort of thing) so if you are celebrating I recommend reminding your server when you arrive.
Had such a great experience! The food was good and the drinks were amazing. We went on a weekend so it was pretty busy. Despite the busyness, our waitress still made the effort to consistently check in on us. Enjoyed it very much
This was my second time coming back and the food was so good on top of that my service was amazing

Unique spot for the I.E. good food but somewhat pricey. Highly recommend the bone marrow appetizer and the sticky date pudding is fire.
This was our first time to this establishment. We were not disappointed. The drinks were good and the dishes had some unique twist in presentation. We will definitely come here again.
Had a fantastic dinner. Our waitress was incredibly hospitable and made us feel welcome from the start. The tamarind shrimp with hush puppies was a standout—one of the best things I've eaten in a while, even if just slightly overcooked for my liking. My wife's salmon with gnocchi was also excellent. The poutine was out of control in the best way—fries with chimichurri is a winning combo. Cocktails were perfectly balanced and a refreshing departure from the typical offerings nearby. The only small miss was that nothing special was done for our anniversary, despite noting it on the reservation—but honestly, the experience was so good overall that it didn't take away from the evening. Can't wait to come back.
Food was tasty and hot. Drinks were good. Dessert was good, had the butter cake with ice cream. They also put a candle in it for my daughters birthday 🥰
Had a great experience. Very organized and seated promptly (with reservations). Drinks and food were delicious. Service was wonderful. The only (small) issue was that it was a small dining room and it got pretty warm in there. They opened the big glass doors, which was nice but then it was cold pretty quickly. We would definitely return, but just come a little more prepared for the temperatures in the restaurant. Our party of 4 was happy with our experience.
