A friend told me about this place. I made reservations for our anniversary. We had an amazing time. The murder mystery game they let you play was fun. Definitely going to go back.

We made a reservation but did not need it, as it was very quiet when we arrived. Service was good and we were able to sit wherever we wanted. We ended up ordering the bacon wrapped dates and they were very good. We order the Drunken Pig burger and the BBQ burger. My husband loved his burger, and the fries were crispy and hot but not oily. My burger was good, but the bottom bun was burned and took away from the taste of the jam, with the burnt part being overwhelming. I did end up taking off the bottom portion of the bun and enjoyed the rest of my meal. As we were leaving, it was getting busier and more people were arriving to dine here.

came here for a drink and it did not disappoint! interior was really nice and spacious, bar chairs were comfy, bathrooms were clean, and the drinks were delicious. friendly bartender was happy to answer my questions and chat a bit about the type of whiskey used in their whiskey sours.

I have come to The State many times, but today I arrived with my sister, and we received amazing customer service from Casey M. We had an emergency that came up, and she helped us have our meal boxed up, and ready to go immediately. She was the best. Also, I ordered the Double Smash Burger with a Sunny side egg on top, with Onion Rings. It was Amazing!

My husband and I had dinner here Friday evening, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was mediocre at best, and the menu felt very limited, leaving us without many appealing options.
We had reservations for the speakeasy at 8:30, but since we finished dinner at 8:00, we were ready to head in a little early. Instead of being accommodating, the young hostess was rude and dismissive—even after the head hostess asked her to show us to our table. We stood waiting for about 10 minutes while she deliberately took her time, offering no courtesy or explanation. At that point, we decided to leave rather than continue waiting.
We also ordered our drinks a specific way and they delivered them completely wrong. For a place that promotes itself as a speakeasy destination, I expected much more in terms of hospitality and service. The lack of professionalism, paired with average food and a very limited menu, left us completely underwhelmed. Sadly, this is not a place we’d return to or recommend.

I recently visited this place with my friend to celebrate my birthday, even though it had technically passed six days earlier. When we ordered our drinks, the server noticed it had been my birthday and kindly wished me a happy belated birthday. My friend and I shared a delicious salad and a chicken pesto sandwich, and we ended up sitting and chatting for nearly two hours. What truly made the experience memorable was that, without any request from my friend, the server surprised me with a scoop of ice cream topped with a candle and another warm birthday wish. It was such a thoughtful gesture completely unexpected and it truly made me feel special. The server went out of his way to create a meaningful moment for me, and I am so grateful for that. Thank you for the wonderful service and for making my birthday celebration feel extra special!

Took my toddler son on a whim while shopping. Food was great and kids meals are reasonably priced with a good portion size. My boy is a large nearly 2 yr old and he had a full small dish of pasta and the side of fries and drink were also a good size. He loved it. I had the 2 for $7 street tacos (shortRib) & a brisket taco. The brisket taco has a very mild kick and between the two I prefer the short rib tacos but both were very tasty and fresh. My only wish was that they weren't the smallest possible size corn Tortillas.

Had a reservation for 11 people, service was not good. Waiter kept forgetting drinks and food. I let them know it was my husbands birthday TWO times and they never brought anything out. Food was good, everything else was bad.

I made a reservation for dinner for 14 people at 6:30 PM. We showed up a little early expecting to wait. There was no wait, the table was set and everything was ready for us. The wait staff was excellent, the food was unbelievably good And everyone had a fabulous experience. We enjoyed the wedge salad, the blackberry barbecue burger, lots of brussels sprouts and bruschetta. Plus so much more! Everything was a hit. Thank you so much for a great dining experience.
