This was our first time dining at The State, and we'll definitely be returning. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and seated right away thanks to our reservation. Our server was friendly, attentive, and offered great recommendations. We started with the bacon‑wrapped dates—absolutely delicious. For our entrées, we went with the Blackberry Bourbon burgers, which were incredibly juicy and packed with flavor. The ladies seated next to us saw our plates, ordered the same burgers, and loved them just as much! The State is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for great food, good drinks, and exceptional service.

Went for their brunch. Food was very good! Was surprised actually. Ordered the chicken & waffles which were delicious but definitely needed extra syrup on the side. The ambience was nice but was a little chilly so bring at least a long sleeve or light jacket. Service took some time but understandable with the amount of drinks and food that was being ordered throughout the time there.

Our server was very nice, our orders came without any issues, and was very quick. The food was above average and the small salad was very a notch above what you get at other places. Overall a very nice place for lunch. We would go again.
Our office had our Christmas lunch at The State in Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday afternoon, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our waitress was outstanding, constantly checking in, keeping our water glasses filled and making sure we had everything we needed. She was polite, professional and genuinely pleasant the entire time. The restaurant had the sliding doors open which brought in a refreshing breeze and made the atmosphere feel open and relaxing. It was quiet, comfortable and perfect for the work gathering. The restaurant itself was very clean and the restrooms were cleaned! which definitely matter and is always appreciated. Overall, great service, great atmosphere and a great place for a group lunch.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This spot has a very interesting menu! There are a lot of favorite food items with their own spin which makes it fun to try the different things. We came in on a Saturday night for a late birthday dinner snack on a whim, and we left pleasantly surprised. The appetizers were all top notch, although we found the poutine a bit too different from the classic. The burgers were mostly all spectacular tasting, but the person who ordered the thanksgiving burger noted it was a bit over the top on the heavy side towards the end of the burger. Overall we all had a blast and are looking forward to returning to sample the rest of the menu.
