The Sycamore Inn

Just had surgery and was cleared to eat my regular diet. Booked to eat here because have been here numerous times and never disappointed before. Waitress was kind and excellent. The waiter who brought our water and meals was a bit rude. First was told the bread wouldn't be ready for 30 minutes, said that was fine. Then was told “do you care” “for the bread” and I said yes please. Then once bread came we got regular butter instead of the usual spread. Felt treated differently. Perhaps because I came in a t shirt but it is the only thing that fits me with my bag attached to me during recovery. Was a bit disappointing, yet the food and the waitress service was excellent. Now has changed to a place that is hit or miss for me, will be giving it one more try since the food and usual service is great!

Sat in the lounge and had amazing service from Lexi! The drinks were amazing and the happy hour prices were really good! I had the filet wedge salad and my husband had the prime rib dip. Everything was great! Will be back soon

Banquette seating in bar area are in desperate need of firmer cushions. Extremely slow service. They seemed to be fully staffed so not sure what issue was although wait staff was hanging out at the bar. Never asked if we'd like another cocktail, never offered a water refill.

We've been here several times for date night, birthdays anniversaries never had a bad meal never had bad service. We just love this place.

Food and service are excellent! Restaurant is a little dark for my taste, but I understand the ambience requires it. This is a favorite place for us (at least once a month)!

My husband and I were escorted to the main dining area. Our waiter Noah provided us with excellent service and his assistant was always there refilling water, tending to our plates etc. The food was so delicious that I kept smiling. I had the wedge salad, and Diane steak with creamed spinach, and my husband had the stuffed shrimp and potato au gratin. Everything from the wine to the meal was fabulous. I'm glad we decided to venture there.

First time visitors with friends. Nice place that's been around a long time and has an interesting history. Service great by our waiter John. Steak, Shrimp, Salmon orders were delicious and prepared to our liking.

I enjoy it here. The service is very good. I'm a little picky about the food because actually, my wife cooks better than about anywhere I EVER eat, no matter what the price. Their prices are fairly decent, and it's a pretty comfortable environment. I think they might want to sink a little money into their chairs that are getting a little saggy and beat up for my taste. That always seems to be a complaint I have with a lot of places. I know it's expensive to upkeep everything, but considering it's longstanding reputation and not cheap prices, I think they need to possibly step up on that situation. But it's a pretty cool place. Has a nice feel to it. The offers some pretty great souffles. The cheesecake needs to step it up. I am a connoisseur of such.. They definitely need to find a new distributor on that! But they have a lot of good stuff to eat over there. You don't have to dress too, too fancy to fit in. Check it out!

Date night, fish was delicious, steak cooked to perfection. Will definitely return

First time to this restaurant , outside looks a little worn but the inside looks amazing. Food was great, I am really picky about my Cesar salad, so I always have to order an extra lemon, it adds the extra yummy if you feel like your salad isn’t tasting right, add a touch of lemon, what a difference . Will come come back. Bar tender really works to make you the perfect drink
