Love this historic top-notch food and service, beautiful atmosphere with fine dining and a bar area with specials till 8 PM

Nice place, we were able to try it during an event. There was seating outdoors and a band playing, but we couldn't get seated at the bar. We have tried to go back but didn't get reservations and other reviews say they hold spots for their regulars. This place looks so pretty during Christmas.

Amazing food, intimate ambiance tentative waiter and runner. My glass of water was never at half way point. I had a great intimate dinner with the wife for our anniversary we had more food than pictures taken since we try to stay away from our phones during dinner but I had to take a pic of the main course. We also had calamari and crab cakes both exceptional crap cake not too fried and perfectly "fishy" and calamari was quite a treat. Main course the peppercorn steak and rack of lamb amazing both cooked to perfection. We finished the night with a cheesecake that was great not too sweet perfectly dense and sauce and fruit weren't over barring. Waiter was tentative but not intrusive apologized for the lamb taking a while but I'm aware on the cook time of a rack of lamb the thoughtfulness spoke volume would come again in heart beat to try their bar menu. Thanks for a lovely memory Sycamore Inn!!

It was a cozy Easter Sunday brunch. We love the atmosphere and the array of different foods at the buffet table was incredibly prepared and delicious.

Was disappointed with the service . Was seated by the bar area and a server never came to take our order. After 20 min we left.

Best place to take your date if you're looking for quiet and personal. Ambiance is amazing.

I'm extremely upset because we've gone to this restaurant in the past for Valentine's Day, our anniversary, and my birthday, and had previously received great service. But on Easter we had a 7:45 dinner reservation and we had a family emergency so we called to say we'd be a little late. We were only 15 min late and they said the kitchen was already broken down because they close at 8pm. Well first of all, the girl who booked us never told us we'd have 15 min till closing when she booked us...but if the kitchen was already broken down at 8pm, how would they have expected to serve us had we been there 15 min earlier??? Did they think they could take our order, prepare our meal, and serve us in less than 15 minutes???? WTH??? They already had the kitchen taken down (according to the manager) before we got there!!! They shouldn't have booked us that close to closing!!! Or they should have told us in advance how close to closing we were getting booked! Instead they turned us away with no Easter Dinner!! My husband and I both worked long hours and very late the night before. We had nothing to eat at home. Absolutely awful that they didn't try to accommodate us. Not sure I'll ever go back to this restaurant again!

The food was good buyway overpriced for what you got. 1 I was expecting some Really large extraordinary juicy steak but I just got a regular ordinary steak it didn't taste bad but it had a lot of fat at. The service I didn't like because the waiter every time we were having a private conversation would come and just stand there so we'd have to stop talking and he kept interrupting and then the bus boy every 5 minutes when the decome and try and clear our plates and was hovering over us which made me feel very uncomfortable. I know they were trying to just do their job but at the same time it was my birthday and we were trying to just have a nice time And talk and I feel like they were trying to rush us. Usually motors places will fill up your bread after it's empty they didn't even offer. But made it nice was my daughters took me there for my birthday. But again like I said the service was rushed They hovered too much and it was my birthday and they just kind of like passed over me Even when they sing Happy Birthday he just rushed that too it was like they wanted us to hurry up and get out of there. Other than the overpricing and the hurriedness of their waiters I wasn't so bad but I wouldn't go back there agaone time experience

This place is always great! To start, the bar staff is friendly and welcoming and know their stuff! The wait staff are knowledgeable of the menu and can make great suggestions. The food is always great, really tasty steaks are cooked propely to your request. The prime rib is really good, as is everything else... the smoke blue cheese and bacon mashed potatoes are outa this world good! And relatively affordable compared to other prime steakhouses. The atmosphere of this place makes me think of early hollywood for some reason. Relaxed and classy. It's a go-to for any date, where you like to hear the person you are with, without yelling over the noise of the crowd or music. Maybe it's my favorite date place.

Get to the Sycamore Inn! Bourbon Old Fashioned and Gin and Tonic. For appetizers, started off with the crab cakes and the stuffed mushrooms...perfect. For entree it was the large prime rib and the rib chop. Both meats were cooked and seasoned to perfection. In fact, the rib chop is the nest I have ever had. The sides were creamed spinach and the potatoes. Another set of drinks for dessert tonight! You must ask for Ed as your server... professionalism, warmth and the best server we have ever had. Get to the Sycamore Inn.

A disaster on my poor husband's birthday ☹️ The best food we got at this place was the green salad. The steaks were overcooked, with no seasoning on the meat, vegetables, or French fries. The waitress was rude, forgot something from each person's order, and almost threw our plates on the table. My husband did not like the beer that he got and asked for a glass of wine for the steak, but the waitress said he couldn't have the wine until he finished his beer! ?

We had a wonderful time and we will come back. I had the shrimp and scallops . I had the onion soup along with a cranberry apple mule. My hubby had the filet mignon with a wedge salad and a glass of milk. The decor was nice. Leather wing-back chairs. There were several leather booths, a full bar with seating. We will come back
