This is not filipino food mass produced in america. Carefully selected ingredients and flavors, cooked the way it should be cooked and tasted at home.

Food was good but way overpriced. I know everything has gone up but they have brought it to an extreme. $13.99 for a combo is ridiculous

This restaurant's staff are the rudest people. I called to inquire about pricing for a future order and instead of asking when will I need the order by, they told me I couldn't order that day and hung up. I called back and a lady picked up and sai they were busy so she also hung up on me. Hey Tropical Food Express, if you guys are busy and can't service in-person and phone orders, hire some people because your customer service sucks!

In the past, I would go to the Tropical Market (Pilipino store) that is caddy cornered from Tropical Food Express (TFE) (Pilipino foods) in the same plaza. They are both owned by the same people. I always order the fried tilapia and jumbo shrimps (SO VERY SCRUMPTIOUS!) from the Tropical Market and pick them up from there as well. However, the last few times, they would send me to the TFE for pick up which was fine with me. It doesn't matter where I pick up my foods as long as I get my foods after payment LOL. Anyway, at TFE, there was a lovely lady behind the counter. She was always pleasant and friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Parking is plenty. Unfortunately, I just yelped Tropical Market and it says it was reported that they are CLOSED. That's too bad. As long as TFE is still in business, we should still be good with my fried tilapia and jumbo shrimps (let's hope). Maybe I'll see you here one of these days. Happy Expressing!

This is not filipino food mass produced in america. Carefully selected ingredients and flavors, cooked the way it should be cooked and tasted at home. hindi yung patsamba tsamba lang na basta magaya. The secret ingredient is the cook herself.

Usually when I buy food here it’s fresh & tasty. Today on the other hand what I ordered gave me really bad food poisoning/stomach pain. It almost tasted like the food was recycled & old.. I’m just being honest I hope they can step it up a bit. Ima have to go with 2 stars on this review. Maybe the next visit (if I ever decide to) will be better.

Almost feel like I’m about to die from this food poisoning. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Don’t buy there, their Filipino delicacies are way over -priced, spoils fast with molds and those in trays are very thin. Will never come back again. If there is lower than 1 star, I will give that rate to them.

I like their fried squid. They also sell different filipino food.
