Tropical Market is a Pilipino store. They sell a variety of Pilipino dry foods and other items. They also sell live seafood and they'll fry them for you upon your request... I think they charge a few dollars more for the extra service. Pre COVID-19, this was my go-to place for deep fried shrimp and tilapia. Huge shrimps and tilapia! Yummy indeed! I would also buy my banana chips from here, too. That's the extent of my visit and purchase LOL. But since COVID-19, I haven't been back. There is also a Pilipino restaurant that is in the same plaza as Tropical Market. I believe they are both owned by the same owner. Sometimes, the staff at the market sends me over to the restaurant to pick up my fried seafood. Prices were very reasonable. I don't know about now though... probably may have gone up a few bucks due to our current economic situation. Check them out when you're in the Rancho Cucamonga area. Happy Eats!

So so good! Very fresh seafood. Order anything, you can't go wrong! Love all their fried items but I've had grilled too if you want to be healthier. Both are yummy...but I just love my fried seafood.

Horrible staff. Doesn’t make eye contact with you nor greet you. The bibingka made both my husband and myself sick.

Horrible staff. They don't make eye contact with you nor greet you. The bibingka made us sick. Very disappointing. I'm new to the area and it was my first and last time coming here.

Basically a tiny Seafood City without the fresh seafood/meat. They have all the Filipino ingredients you need. The veggies aren't the most fresh. I suggest you go to your local market for that, but for sinigang mix or even bagoong, this is the place to get it. They even have balut.

I don't know what to rate them. I have been shopping at this local mom and pop market for years before the larger Asian supermarkets opened up like 99 Ranch Market and Seafood City. It is sad to see how the bigger markets opened up to take business away from the small mom and pop stores. I would still shop there but you could tell that they no longer have much selections of fresh vegetables, fruits, meats and fish now. They carry a lot of cans goods, package and dried goods. I remember going to get fried fish there now they no longer offers that so I only go there for their fried banana roll Turon. This market makes the best Turon for only $1.10 each always order a dozen or so to bring to my meetings at work.

I work down the street from Tropical seafood market. A small Filipino restaurant and take out. When you're hungry for Filipino food this is the place to go. Their food is always freshly cooked and very tasty and the price of food is not so bad either. Today they're grilling outside until 8 o'clock. Everything they're grilling looked delicious except I can't have them for health reasons. I believe they will be doing this for a few weeks except Mondays. But she made this wonderful "Beef Wonton Mami" that I had to go. This is what I call "comfort food", especially in this cold weather and so filling. It makes me want to go back tomorrow for more... So I urge everyone to go the TROPICAL SEAFOOD and eat all their great foods!!!

Very Filipino friendly store. You can do one stop shop from groceries to wet market and ready to eat food.

Geez another negative review by me. I promise I will do more positive reviews because I think there are many great businesses out there that really do care and provide great products and services. Its just that the bad ones piss me off so much that I jump on them right away. OK with that said, here goes another illustrious story. Was in this place and bought some expensive soap for my GF. I bought 6 bars and payed for 6 bars but the lady who rung me up conveniently only put 5 in the bag. I got to my next destination and just for giggles, I decided to check the soap bars. When I did, I discovered 5 bars of soap.. Arrrrg...she screwed up and only put 5 bars in the bag :( I called the store a got an older guy on the phone. Probably one of the owners that I had seen in the store earlier. I told him what had happened and indicated that I could swing by the store by 7pm to pick up the bar of soap. He said that would work and that he would be there until 7 or 7:15. I got there by 7 and to my surprise, the little b****** had locked up and already headed home to eat some adobo. Hmmmm .. now we have a bad situation getting even worse !! In the 1st place , in addition to the fact that this store is 20 minutes out of my way to visit, I now spent an additional 20 minutes back tracking to go get a 3 dollar frigin bar of soap. This kinda reminds me of going out on one of those newport beach "party" fishing boats and spending 150 bucks to catch one skinny barracuda that you would just toss back in because they taste like S$#@ !! Maybe I should just buy this kinda crap on Ebay in future ! oh yeah...ebay sucks too !

I purchased egg roll sheets here and they were horrible quality. Then I realized the sheets had mold in them, however they had expiration for 2020. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
