Every time I go to Cali I try to stop at Vence's, great spaghetti and really fair prices. You won't walk away hungry that's forsure.

Seemed better this time We had 12 people and the attention to detail was fantastic
Cost was very very reasonable - we got out of there under 500.00

Been going for more than 40 years now tell about a month ago .. went to have dinner there and we now live in the high desert so it's a drive to eat here but worth it.. on the last visit we were asking for my wife to get food off the child menu as she had the by pass surgery and can't eat much while us other four were ordering off the regular menu items. Also were going to order stuff to go for later. To only be told she could order from the regular menu so we asked for a Manger and a younger Mexican looking mam came over and told us the same. I know the red hair Manger there I told him and never seen him before. He said well these are the rules. My kids jumped up and left right then and so did my wife. I told him you just lost a 40 years customer and we will never return. The great food isn't worth VERY POOR SERVICE! IF THEY ARE GOING THIS WAY IM DONE! so people they are not the same .. everything changes and they have too. So good luck and good bye!

I don't think this is the original recipe. It can't be. There's no way they have been in business this long with something that tastes so bad. Rago tastes better than this. The bread is basically a hot dog bun, the meat separates from the tomato (soup it seems) so I know it's not cooked together and is all watery at the bottom of the plate. Doesn't even seem like the used garlic or onion I couldn't even come close to finishing 1/4 of my plate. The meatballs and sausage aren't cooked in the sauce. Did I mention this cant be the original recipe? No way anyone from Italy would make and serve something like this. It may be family owned but the original family would be embarrassed. The service was excellent though and the had my beer, Lagunitas. Thank goodness for that! Actually, I'm embarrassed for these people. Took the rest home for the dogs they'll eat anything. Sorry Vince's!

Place is awesome. If you love spaghetti, it's a must. The dinners include soup and salad, which are quite good, but also choice of cheese or garlic bread. The sauce is key. They offer a basic sauce or meat sauce. And both are great. A few other things are also available. Just go and try it.
