The food is really good. We have eaten there now 3 times and have enjoyed it each time. The BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Cole Slaw and Baked Beans are really good. And the Corn Bread is a great way to start out. We have a great time there too! It's fun talking with Mark! Service is good. Plan to make a reservation as the inside part of the restaurant is small!

Service & ambience was great but the bbq sauce on my brisket sandwich was way TOO SALTY. This was our first time there at the new restaurant so this problem might have been just a bad batch.

Babe's Indio is much smaller than it was at the River. 6-8 tables are inside plus several seats at the bar. There is also outside seating with misters. BBQ ribs, pulled pork & service were all excellent. Portions are huge (took home 1/2). We were seated between the front & side doors - both close with a bang. That was the only thing that could be addressed, perhaps.

Great BBQ with fast friendly service. Our server did a great job and checked in with us frequently to ensure our satisfaction.

That food was so good, I'm still thinking about it right now... I would go back for the corn bread alone, but everything from the Mac & cheese to the sauce was incredible. The baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender and seasoned to perfection. My favorite ribs in the desert by far. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and has such a cool vibe. The service was good, nothing to write home about and no complaints either. Overall, I had an amazing meal and I am most definitely coming back again.

The food was terrible. Ribs were undercooked, short rib sandwich was dry, and the bread on my pulled pork sandwich was soggy. The waiter argued with us saying the ribs were being cooked for 10 hours and the chef knows what he's doing, well obviously not. We got brisket instead of the ribs and they had vanes with not great flavor, for 40 DOLLARS!!! The only good thing was corn bread. Overpriced, and food is not good.

A/C didn't seem to be cool enough . Food fabulous. After eating ribs they should serve hand wipes or a warm wet towel on a plate to clean our hands.

The short rib sandwich was a bit dry and not very flavourful and the baby back ribs, while tasty weren't very hot. The chicken hush puppies were the best part of our meal and the beans and the sweet potato and wedge fries were delicious. Service was excellent. Portions are also huge so lots to take home

Awesome food and service! Bartenders are super friendly and do a fantastic job! Place is tiny.. more of an outdoor seating place.. would come back again!

We had a fun dinner sitting at the bar. Restaurant is small, so be sure to make a reservation. Brisket was great, sausage phenomenal, the deviled eggs, albeit good, were maybe a little too weird for me and I probably would not order again. The baby back ribs were just so-so. My husband loved the chocolate cake.

Babe's is now one of mine and my husband's favorite restaurants! We weren't able to get an indoor table, but even on a hot day their outdoor seating didn't inconvenience us in the least. In addition to our server, Karen, who was amazing, they have a great team that made sure we were well taken care of. As for the food, we shared the goat cheese tamale followed by each ordering the 2 Proteins with the sausage and brisket. We loved everything but hands down the brisket was the best we've ever had! And the portions were large enough to take home leftovers for another meal. Even if you're too full, definitely make sure to take home one of their pies. We warmed them up in the oven the next day... so good! We're so happy Babe's found their new home in Indio... We've already been back again with our son and will be taking our friend who's currently visiting because it's just that good!!

First time we went to the new location. It is our July 4th tradition to go to Babe's for ribs!. We were not disappointed! The food and portions were fabulous as always!! Very tasty ribs and yams and Mac and cheese!! Loved it all. Our waitress was very professional, courteous and attentive. The restaurant is a little smaller than the last location but the decor was very trendy. We drove from Rancho Mirage to Indio. This was every bit worth the drive!! We will be back soon!!

The restaurant is nothing like the prior location at The River. Less than 10 tables inside and a fairly long bar. We felt so alone dining there. (Outside seating will be available when the weather is cooler). The kitchen appears to encompass 40% or more of the space which was kind of surprising given the number of tables. The prices are fairly high. We ordered a bar-b-que chicken salad and 1/2 rack of baby back ribs. No beverages or deserts and the bill came to $80 (inc. tip) The food is all as good as it used to be, just smaller portions. I wish them well in their new location.

Waitress was helpful and thoughtful. The baby back ribs were a little dry for me, but the chicken was delicious. Next time I will try the Saint Louis Ribs. BTW..the summer side salad was excellent. Corn was good as well.
