I hope this restaurant more people come and dine in. It’s a huge place the food not bad but the taco was greasy the Burrito ok not convincing ??? for me…. But thank you anyway who served us I really appreciated for your hard-work. Great ambiance but need more people to come please support this restaurant located at Rancho Mirage. They have happy hour as well.

I would like to apologize to the waiter. We have totally forgotten to live a tipe because of my my family. 10/10 waitress and loved the nachos.

They were kind enough to accommodate a group of 20 at the last minute and the customer service was outstanding. Everyone raved about the food.

We just keep going back! The food is exceptional at very reasonable prices. The great part is the variety. We keep trying new dishes. The presentation is fantastic. Service is perfect. The owner checks on us throughout each dining experience. High marks.

Parking: Plenty of free parking

We were disappointed with our visit to Bobby Bottinas. From the outside the restaurant looks inviting, with neon flashing open sign and a window full of posters of sports events. The impresssion was a happening sports bar, but that wasn't what we found inside. The waiter kind of looked surprised that someone had come in. There was only one other couple in the restaurant, sat at a table near the bar. The interior decor is depressing. This was supossed to be happy hour! No beers on draft! The inside of the restaurant was drab. There was no background music, it was deathly quiet. They finally put on some music, just as we were leaving. The service was just OK, not welcoming and friendly, but OK. We asked if we could order a portion of fries with our chosen meals and were told, that the waiter didn't think the kitchen did them. We pointed out other menu items included fries, and the waiter said he would go and ask the kitchen if they had any. Very wierd. The steak fries turned out to be the best part of a poor meal. I had the popcorn shrimp. The portion size was good but the batter was soggy. I had to ask for more sauce to try and add some flavour but the seafood sauce which arrived was flavourless. We ate at three other restaurants in the same complex and all were busy and good experiences. Unless we are missing something, this restaruant needs a rethink or it won't survive.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this new place. We arrived at 6. This claims to be a Mexican-American place. We asked if they had chabelas, the waiter said he wasn't sure and that he would get back to us. 10 minutes later, he brings us chips and salsa and stated he would be back with our drinks and left. He didn't care to clarify if they had chabelas or not. The salsa had no flavor so this was a disappointment. Anyhow, we sat and waited. A Caucasian family of 4 arrives 10 minutes after we did, they got their drinks and placed their order without any troubles. At 635, we still had not gotten our drinks or placed our order. We decided to leave. This place is definitely trying to make an impression with a certain type of clientele.

My sister and I went on 9/10/22. We ordered drinks first started off with margaritas they were extremely sweet it tasted like pure sugar. We got appetizers the ceviche was gross and the chips were super stale. The coconut shrimps were burnt dried and mushy. Then we left that on the side we didn’t finish it. We were looking forward of eating entree which was chicken wrap with fries the fries were super soggy with oil and the chicken wrap was flavor less. My sister in law had chicken and shrimp fettuccine, it was undercooked the shrimp was burn and the chicken was very dry. We did not finish our meal and we threw it away and we walked 5 mins around the mall we rushed to the restrooms and we threw it up. We have pictures and video proof. It was funny but disappointing because we spent 135 dollars for nothing!

I would like to give 0 stars but gave 1 star because the margaritas were good. Food was very disappointing. Salsa tasted like canned tomatoes with some jalapeños added. Very lacking in flavor. We ordered fajitas: Chicken, Shrimp and a Chicken and Beef combo as well as Floutas. No one in the party ate their food. No flavor at all and not traditional fajitas you would get at a Mexican restaurant. The rice that came with it was cold and not hot when served. The Floutas came sitting in 1/2 inch of grease on the plate. We first thought it was water. Greasy, greasy Floutas. Could not be eaten. We struggled with what to do because we were paying good money for terrible food that was not going to be eaten. We decided to take our servers recommendation and spoke to the manager who was accommodating by discounting the bill but in retrospect, we paid for meals we did not eat other than a few bites. Our server was very nice. I wish I can remember her name because she was great. We really wanted to like this place but unfortunately our food was the worst Mexican food we have ever eaten. It's one thing for one meal out of four not to be good but not all four meals to be terrible. We left hungry and dissaponted. We should have listened to the reviews. Sorry Bobby.

Our large party had an incedibly good experience here. The service was exceptional and the food was great. The 7$ top shelf margaritas were perfect after a long hot day. We will be adding this to our list of must visit local restaurants when we are in town. Thank you to Bobby and your awesome team!

The worst Chicken Chimichanga, I have ever had. The flour tortilla was like mush and the beans and rice were inside of the chimichanga- along with some kind of spaghetti sauce. Not only that, but the top and bottom of the chimichanga was burnt. The spaghetti sauce that was around it was also burnt. Even my daughter said her food was terrible. Beans and rice tasted like they were repeatedly reheated and tortilla shells tasted like they were microwaved.

Bobby and Tina were excellent hosts. We came for “Happy Hour” - the prices were good and the food ( coconut shrimp and chips/salsa) were delicious. Salsa was fresh and tasty and the shrimp were huge and perfectly fried. The Margarita specials were fabulous. We will definitely be back!!

My family enjoyed dinner here at Bobby Botina’s for Father’s Day. It was our first time here and right in our Rancho Mirage neighborhood, am I glad we came. We were seated right away by Bobby himself, who explained that they are also starting a Latin dance night on Thursday’s with live music from a local artist. I am inviting my friends to join us for Thursdays. The food was absolutely delicious and the service impeccable. Thank you for a nice evening!

Bobby and Tina hosted our golf club closing party. There were 130 people attending the cocktail hour and 120 people attending the event with dinner, awards and dancing. The event was flawless. Food and service was excellent. We can’t thank the ownership enough. We highly recommend this restaurant for a very pleasant experience. Well done Bobby, Tina and staff!

Food quality was below standard compared to price. Almost no other customers at 3-4 PM on a Saturday, which is probably due to prices/quality. Expected much better since neighbors are Cheesecake Factory and Yard House.

Went and caught the end of happy hour. Great menu. For dinner we were able to share a Lotta things, everything from the salads to pastas and tacos are generous shareable portions. They had nice price points on drinks and will try again. Glad to have a new Mexican spot in the river area!
