50 bucks for a small (but decent) BLT, salad (average) and a beer. Had to ask server of we could sit anywhere (absolutely no geeting), delayed order, and then never returned. Ever. Never checked on us (wanted to order a side and a cocktail). Food was dropped off by runner. Had to walk my card over to pay. Had to also walk my signed copy over so it wouldn't blow away. Expect the same if she doesn't know your name or you're not wearing golf clothes.

We had another wonderful meal at The Penney on Friday night. The service from Janessa and Kristy was friendly, efficient and warm. The food was delicious, highlights being the mushroom dip and the whole fish (this may have been a special) and the incredible chocolate pudding. Excellent mocktails too! The jazz band provided fun background music and fit really well with the ambiance and setting. We felt thoroughly spoilt!

The prices seem high for the quality of the food and the taste. Things should really be exceptional at this price point. A $50 steak should really be excellent. Not just OK. French fries as an appetizer should be so delicious and hand cut not a frozen product. quite disappointed in the service and attention to our table again at this price point you're kind of asking for more attention and service we were one of only maybe four tables on a Wednesday night .

The band was playing and dancing was happening when we were there for dinner. It was fun, but probably better to sit on the terrace if you want to have conversation with your table mates. Otherwise, the service was top notch. My dinner was the Steak Diane which was delicious. My friends ordered the scallops risotto and Jidori chicken which they said was good. My Tiramisu Espresso martini was delicious, but my two friends said their extra dirty martinis were not as good as they had anticipated.

we went for the music and to hear “fun with Dick and jane” which were fabulous as always so it was loud but it's supposed to be. I had the brussels sprouts and a salad, both were very good. I think the wait staff was a bit overloaded with all the people that showed up, but we all got fed happily.

We thought the ambiance was very cool Loved the art display leading into the restaurant the cool bar and decor. There was a jazz band playing when we arrived and while I love jazz we felt it was too loud for the size of the space and wish the volume could have been turned down. The menu was fun and the food was very good. The cocktail menu was wonderful. We do wish as the weather warms in the valley come spring there would be more lighter fare offered for those not in the mood to eat a full on meal. That being said the food was delicious.

Another delicious dining experience at one of my favorite restaurants in the desert. The duck sausage and the scallop risotto were outstanding. Our server Sebastian was top-notch. Highly recommended!

Excellent service, food & ambiance. The Chef is creative and skilled and so is the Bartender, cocktails were outstanding. Could not have been more pleased, easily the best meal I've had in the Palm Springs area in years. Played golf here for years and didn't even know they had this kind of restaurant. Overall outstanding.

The ambiance of the enclosed outdoor dining area was the highlight of this dining experience. Wonderful mountain and golf course views. Interesting menu choices. Check menu before booking. Cocktails were excellent.

We were only offered 5:30 or 8:00 seating but discovered the restaurant was not busy at all. Setting is lovely, but overly expensive for the unimaginative food/presentation which took away from the dining pleasure. Disorganized service left us hanging for drinks, proper cutlery, and food items. With prices these days we should expect more.

Dinner for four came to $440. Entrees were tiny and oversalted. Airline chicken could have been served on a United flight. Vegetables (broccolini, brussels sprouts) were all flash fried with the same overpowering sweet carbonized taste. $10 dinner rolls with "European butter" is a joke. Service was painfully slow -- more than 20 minutes to receive our drinks. The tuneless band playing drums made it difficult to hear our dinner companions.

Thought the food was just ok. Service was fine, but not very personable. Chef special fried mushrooms pretty horrible. Steak Diane ok, should be served with at least mashed potatoes, not having to order them after the fact. Salad good. Weird to have a trio playing in the corner in the dark! I mean DARK! Too many good restaurants same pricing. Doubt I'd return.

Staff is wonderful. Food is meh. Paying $10 for reheated rolls is a bit ridiculous. I had a vegetarian option that was basically a roasted sweet potato with a few crumbles of cheese and a quarter of an avocado. Oh, and a teaspoon of black beans. Hubs had steak Diane which was more like a bbq sauce than a traditional sauce. Nice ambiance and service but we won't be returning for the food.

What a treat after our round of golf. Our partners happened to have the same plans for dinner as we, so met for a cocktail then seated together for dinner. ~Exceptional service ~ Live music was in the background ?? ~ High marks for food quality Rarely do you experience 5⭐️ all around, as we did last night. Thank you for all the staff efforts that go into making it happen.

This is our fourth time at The Penney and we enjoy the ambiance, the service is attentive and the food is really good. For this dining experience there was live music and it really added to the experience. We love the bar when we don't plan for a meal. The bartenders are attentive and friendly. We will continue to come back.
