Kobe Japanese Steak House

To be honest, I really wanted to like this place. I love teppanyaki and have eaten it all over the world, but this spot just felt okay at best.

The food itself was decent, but the ingredients didn’t seem very fresh. The bean sprouts had a sour taste, and overall the place didn’t feel that clean. Tables and surfaces were a bit sticky, which threw me off. For the price, I expected a better experience.

The chef was friendly and entertaining, but everything else about the restaurant felt outdated. Even a chain like Benihana feels cleaner and more polished overall.

Honestly, I don’t plan on coming back. It really needs a refresh before I’d even consider giving it another try.

Worst Experience I have ever received from this steakhouse!!!! We paid over 500$ for my mother in laws birthday!! Not everyone once did the server's come and ask for refills. The cook didn't do any type of show, and was super quite and not very happy about being there cooking. The server's rushed us to finish up and leave and didn't even offer dessert. Worst customer service ever received 😡 0 starts if possible.

We were really looking forward to dining here, but the valet parking experience completely ruined it. The valet was extremely rude and disrespectful — very aggressive in tone. It left such a bad impression that we decided to leave without even going inside. First impressions matter, and I hope management takes this seriously because this kind of behavior is unacceptable for a place like this.

What an entertaining restaurant. Intimate dining as we were there when they 1st opened. We had the small area to ourselves. The Chef was fun and put on a great show while preparing our food. Food was hot and prepared to order while we watched. First time at a Kobe. Will definitely go again.

I tried to do something nice for a family member who was dining here on her birthday, and they wouldn’t let me pay for over the phone for a bottle of wine or dessert sent to their table. Ive done this before and usually restaurants are always willing to accommodate and it’s such a fun surprise for the person to get sent something extra at their table! So disappointed they wouldn’t let me - won’t be dining at this establishment again and can’t recommend. What happened to good service?

The service is really good. Hector the restaurant manager goes above and beyond, and runs a great restaurant. He exceeds customer service and is very accommodating, and the Host staff are very friendly as well.

The food is great and the atmosphere is superb. However, this restaurant was designed for people who can truly appreciate high prices.

It’s been 25 years since I’ve been to Kobe Steakhouse, and last night was just as amazing as I remember it. The inside is laid out in three areas with three different menus (note that the menus are specific to where you sit, you cannot order from a menu not in your section). Bar seating and a smaller bar menu (that’s not why you come here), sushi menu and sitting at the sushi counter, but most popular hibachi seating with a hibachi menu. While you can totally do the sushi and bar menus, hibachi is the way to go and a total blast regardless of age. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and of course having a good time as they cook on the flat top grill. We got the chicken teriyaki and the teppan shrimp meals which come with a few pieces of shrimp to start, miso soup, sautéed mushrooms/carrots/zucchini/bean sprouts, your main (chicken teriyaki and shrimp for us), ending with the sherbet or green tea ice cream. The green tea ice cream was not as green tea flavored as I would have expected, but good nonetheless. Everything else was great and as expected. Shout out to the fantastic dipping sauces - miso ginger and a spicy mustard soy. Go crazy.

I love a good hibachi place. This place is clean and nice and the food is good. The service very good. Super fun spot to take a gaggle of kids. They will be entertained.

High quality, server noticed my steak was over cooked, returned it to the kitchen to come back with a perfect medium rare. Valet is exceptional, had my car pulled up before I even got to the lot!
