My husband and I have not been to the restaurant since Covid because we moved away. This was our first time back since we moved back to the desert. I have to say the food was outstanding. The summer menu is extraordinary the food the drinks staff was exemplary. We are looking to go back for lunch in the near future to get reacquainted with the menu. I give this restaurant five stars easy.

The Summer menu is wonderful!! Rather than huge portions with an ordinary taste, the casual yet sophisticated taste and beautifully presented dishes were very satisfying. Our guests were delighted. The only problem was that the desserts were too big and too delicious!

We love Si Bon! We are regular breakfast/ brunch customers but decided to go there for my birthday dinner. I started with their wonderful garlicky escargot in a waffle and my husband started with mushroom soup. My husband had Fried Chicken for his entree while i treated myself to steak frite, with hangar steak. Both were wonderful. Service was en pointe. The diners next to us were rather noisy and loud but the patio on this spring evening was delightful. And Si Bon gave me a free dark chocolate mousse to celebrate my special day.

We had asked to be served in bar area. The lady took us in and wanted seat us next to a dog in a carriage as high as the table! We refused and were seated in dining area. There is a law concerning dogs in dining areas!!

If you're not familiar with us, we're "Dining with The Davids." We go to restaurants with a massive group of friends (affectionately known as our "Taste Buds"). We then order either the entire menu or the chef's favorites. At the end of the evening, everyone votes for their favorites and we create a 60-90 second video about the winners.
Si Bon in Rancho Mirage is a culinary delight that never disappoints! The standout dish of the night was the mussels and fries—perfectly cooked mussels paired with crispy, golden fries made this the top overall winner. The Dungeness crab ravioli with lemongrass sauce was another highlight, offering a delicate and flavorful start to the meal. For those looking for something light, the fresh papaya stuffed with chicken salad was the best salad we tried—refreshing and unique!
To top it all off, the mixed berry and custard tart stole the show for dessert with its sweet and creamy perfection. Si Bon is truly a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in the Coachella Valley!

The waitress was stand offish with us. No clue why someone would choose to start off that way. I watched her with other tables and she laughed with them. Just not with us. It wasn't a great way to celebrate a birthday. Although they did deliver a complimentary dessert for us, she kinda just dropped it on the table and left. None of this review has anything to do with the food. Which was delicious. Careful with the waitress with the long blonde hair.
