We had an incredibly long day of travel. We checked in, dropped our bags and went to this restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating and stunning views, but our amazing experience was all due to our incomparable server Jasmin. She was so warm, attentive, professional, knowledgable and the list goes on and on. She single handedly made this experience top notch. Highly recommend her service.

This beautiful hidden gem was nestled in the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage. JR. was our server and Ozzy was the Manager. The staff made every moment since us walking in for our 8:30 reservation so memorable. We were celebrating our 17th year Anniversary and we were greeted by multiple staff, checked on, asked if we were comfortable, they took pictures for us, and they anticipated any need we could have ever wanted. We felt so special, and they gave us a Happy Anniversary dessert and toast. They knocked it out of the park and we most definitely want to come to this place again. Food was Chefs kiss, the date bread rolls were delicious, and the crispy shrimp starter was magnifique'! My Wife had the scallops and I had the Herb Chicken Mole'. both dishes were unique and was absolutely a new spin on these dishes that I've never seen before. You need to come try this place...you won't be sorry!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Exceptional! We sat at the bar for lunch both days! DJ was fantastic! He took his time to explain what types of tequilas they have. Also helped with deciding on what to get for lunch both days. DJ was so friendly and polite! We really enjoyed sitting at his bar!
While you’re here make sure you have breakfast on the patio! The views are incredible and the service is exceptional!

Looks better than it tastes. Good but far from great. Nice environment and excellent service. My friend had the pad thai, I had the hummus. Plus we shared the very unique macha brulee dessert. The bread tasted burnt.

The food was very good. Our server, Julia, was outstanding! We are vegans, and she helped us navigate the menu to ensure that our dietary needs were met. I recommend that our vegan friends visit the Sate Fare Bar & Kitchen.

Excellent service, but the food sadly missed the mark. The food was beautifully plated, but lacked overall quality and taste. My husband ordered the Ossobuco and was unable to even cut into the meat due to the extremely tough texture. Our impeccable server did remove the dinner entree from the bill, but definitely put a damper on the dining experience. The roasted salmon entree was also unfortunately unremarkable. We love the Ritz Carlton experience, but will not be returning to this restaurant in future stays.

What a lovely dinner at State Fare last night. We were there to celebrate our good friend's birthday. The service was professional, accomodating and friendly. We chose several items from the dinner and bar menus and each was tasty and well-prepared. Thanks to all the personnel who made this a wonderful, celebratory evening.

I absolutely had a wonderful experience dining at State Fare Bar and kitchen. The food was fabulous, the atmosphere was fabulous, the service was great‼️. I cannot say anything wrong about my experience last night. Truly recommend this restaurant.

I've been to State Fare many times with small and large groups and it's always good. Great service, beautiful setting, nice views. It's a little expensive but not much more than other restaurants. Perfect for special occasions.

Was staying at the resort, came to celebrate a special anniversary with some friends. We stuffed into a half booth so that you can't even look at each other when dining. the restaurant was empty of tables seemed like were were kept segregated from rest of the dining room. 2 of us ordered Sea Bass. It was tasteless and very small portion seemed like 2 oz of fish perched on 1 mussel and 1 clam. Vey strange and on the most expensive dishes on the menu. Another ordered the Salmon which came with a decent size portion served with rice and vegetable that were undercooked almost raw carrots. Such a disparaging difference between the 2 fish plates. 1 guest ordered the steak, was supposed to be cooked medium rare came almost mw had to re-do. Don't know what to order seems too inconsistent in it's vision. Check with tip came to almost $400 2 cocktails not deserts. Don't think I'll be back, too many good choices in the desert to gamble on this one again. Disappointed

The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. The only irritant we experienced were flies. As soon as our food was served, 3 or 4 flies descended on our table and we spent the next 30 minutes swatting them away. We noticed that other diners were doing the same thing.

Excellent

Always a great experience dining here at the Ritz. The food, service and the atmosphere keeps us coming back. The wagyu short ribs are excellent! Also, the huevos rancheros for breakfast is great!

While service was slow to start our waiter Bryan made up for it and more, he was very personable and polite. The food was fantastic as well and the view of the valley is absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend.

Food was not good. Sent back two dishes. The other one we just didn't eat. Overcooked salmon. Asked for it to be cooked through but it was overdone. Used to be good food here but not right now. Wish the food was good because the staff are fantastic and the patio is great. Been coming here for many years.....
